Dancing with the Stars - Lil’ Kim pulls into the lead
Big things do come in small packages and Lil’ Kim’s performance tonight was huge. Their interpretation of the jive was fun to watch and earned the couple a score of 28 - top score of the night.
At the other end of the leader board are many of the same characters including Steve-O & Lacey Schwimmer, Lawrence Taylor & Edyta Sliwinska and Ty Murray & Chelsie Hightower.
Ty and Chelsie’s performance was stiff, uninspired and lacked musicality. Throughout the dance it always seemed as though Ty was doing his best just to catch up.

It’s got to be Ty and Chelsie. Ty is so stiff when he dances every week. At least Steve-O is really, really trying and seems to get just a little bit better every week.I really like Melissa and Tony and Gilles and Cheryl.

Kim and Derek’s Jive was energetic and fun to watch. I really loved it. Straight 9’s would have been more logical. But I am so happy they are finally on top of the leaderboard giving Gilles, Shawn and Melissa a run for the money. I think it’s going to get more interesting in the weeks to come!

Actually, the best dance of the night was Melissa’s. I don’t know what lil’Kim was doing, but that wasn’t even a Jive!

I must agree - Ty and Chelsie may be the ones leaving tonight. Although, old Steve-O needs to go-go!

NYC, I thought Shawn and Mark gave a great performance too, although Lil’ Kim’ and Derek’s was just enough different to make it a little more interesting to watch.

I thought Shawn and Mark had the best dance of the night. I really didn’t like Kim & Derek jive that much.
