Dancing with the Stars - Update - Week 3

After a crazy day of financial news, it’s nice to get caught-up in a night of dancing! Tonight (Oct 6), the dancers danced the Viennese Waltz and the American Jive.

Misty and max are out this week due to an injury, but are they out for the season? Read on…

Susan Lucci & Tony Dovolani

Tonight’s dance - The Jive. Other than a few miss-steps, that might have been her best dance so far!

Misty May-Treanor & Maksim Chmerkovskiy. On crutches, Misty came on stage to tell America about her injury. During rehearsals, Misty and her partner were putting the final touches on the Jive for this week’s show, when Misty, and everyone on stage, heard a pop and the pain followed. The popping sound was her Achilles tendon rupturing. Misty will be going into surgery tomorrow (Oct. 7). Misty and Mak are out for the season.

After tonight’s performances, who will be joining Misty and Maksim on the sidelines?

I missed this. To some time to watch Monday Night Football. But I think may have been wrong about Toni B. Brooke Burke is emerging as the one to watch out for. Warren Sapp, I fear may be the number 2. And poor Cloris! I adore her, but she can’t get above a 5. Damn it! LOL!

Wine glasses

Some are searching for new customers. Others are looking for a test market for new appetizers or entrees. Others want customer feedback on which new wines to add to the wine list. Whatever their reasons, more restaurants in the Dayton area are using wine tastings and wine dinners to try to get new, fresh faces to cross their doorsteps. A decade ago, diners could easily count on one hand the number of restaurants that held regular wine events. Now, the number exceeds a dozen and is growing. More »
