“It just looks like a handi-wipe gone wrong” - Project Runway update

The first episode was full of all things that have made the “Project Runway” such a reality TV hit including the one-liners from Michael Kors. While his fashions often end up on the racks at TJ Maxx, his quips and quotes are one of the highlights of the show.

Tonight’s quote was one of my faves; “It just looks like a handi-wipe gone wrong.” Out of context… not so funny… but imagine a dress being paraded down the catwalk that is made of something that looks like a paper towel and you get the picture.

Did anyone else love that Austin Scarlet was a Judge… he was soooo toned down though… a little disappointing.

Do you have a Runway Fave moment or designer for this season… share ‘em here!

It’s hard to make any predictions as of yet. I think Kelli will make it quite far, her first design (the WINNER) was so very innovative and unique. Bleach and die on vacuum cleaner bags?? That sure ain’t no tablecloth or shudder shower curtain. I definitely think they kicked off the right designer. Jerry seemed cocky and boring, based on his portfolio. I think Blayne will be this season’s Ricky, staying on way too long for not enough talent. His look was interesting but uninspired, and his tanning obsession already annoys me.

It did look awful, the handi-wipe dress. I’m not crazy for Kors myself. I’m sure he uses fur as well with his collection. Disgusting. I was so happy to see Austin back but he was toned down. His personality is as entertaining as the show itself! I’m not sure what to think of the current cast but I was thrilled to see someone from Ohio with potential. I didn’t care much for Angela and her bumpkin get-ups she created (season 2). Although I don’t know if anyone can top Christian. I do hope he makes a cameo as a guest judge. I absolutely adore him.
