Ryan Seacrest taunts ejected Idol contestant. ‘American Idol’ Latest Update

Not only was last night’s result show a jaw dropping experience for many, some are wondering if Ryan went too far.

This short YouTube Video helps to explain what many are calling cruel…

I hope that wasn’t scripted although you’d have to think it was… since he had cards and all.

What do you think? Did Ryan go too far giving Michael Johns false hope he wouldn’t be going home?

Do you think America chose the right David to win 'American Idol'?

Ryan was just doing what the producers TOLD him to do, which was to elude to LAST year when NOBODY was sent home, but that this year somebody was going home and it was Michael. After the show, Michael Johns said that Ryan, who he thinks is a nice guy, was talking with him about this very subject. The producers knew it would stir the viewers up, and it did.

Uh, to all of you who claim to be angry that American Idol “let” Michael Johns go…did you forget that America votes and that is how folks are let go? Am I missing something here?

I think Ryan is a X&*#@%!! He shows no taste or class. He did the same sort of thing with David Hernandez. As a host he should be impartial. This shows that they should replace Ryan as host. I do think Michael Johns left too early, but I don’t think he would have made it to top AI. I still think David Cook will win with David A. as runner up. Crybaby Brooke needs to go home along with actress Syesha.

I thought it was hilarious how all bottom 3 just stood there after Mike got the boot. They were like, “huh?” and Ryan was like, “Why won’t the other 2 sit down?” I think he started ad libbing and it just came out like, “Yeah, you’re gone, so sing a little diddy and don’t the door hit ya on the way out”

I think that it is really lame to do what they did. Why change it this year? I think if they started out with not sending someone home that week that they should continue that every year. Way to go A I! Im done watching

Ryan is a jerk, he didn’t even have to talk about last year, and then pause like he did, just to make him think that maybe they were going to do the same this year. Simon is the only one on that show with a brain, there would be no show without Simon.

I never did like Ryan Seacrest. He always seems like an arrogant jerk to me…this proved it. Michael Johns has talent. I think he’ll be successful without Idol’s #1 spot.

American Idol should have continued the policy of not sending someone home during “American Idol gives back”! Michael was the favorite of everyone I know to be the winner. They lost the best contestant they have ever had!! Hopefully he will be backed by someone/group and be more of a hit then the one who ends of the winner!!!In your face Idol!

I will no longer watch Idol. They really messed up. Let the best go and in a cruel way. Why not let Michael Johns stay another week like last year? I thought Simon was the cruel one but Ryan out did him by far saying what he did. I hate American Idol now!!!!!

Sometimes I think these shows forget they are dealing with real people with huge dreams. This was cruel and completely unnecessary.

I do think that Ryan went too far. It was in poor taste and he should apologize for it. If it was one of the girls, they would have been crying all over the place.
