Dayton Woman on American Idol?
Could it be? A user on idolforums.com has posted a list of some of the top fifty chosen to be on American Idol 7. The list, includes more than 40 names of potential contestants and their myspace or other web addresses.
Near the bottom of the list is an entry for a 17 year-old whose hometown is listed as Dayton Ohio. Her myspace page has photos from a trip to Philadelphia earlier this summer and the Idol forum site is suggesting that Philadelphia is the city in which she competed for a spot - coincidence? Time will tell.
Wouldn’t it be fun to have a local competing for the top prize of American Idol?

Katrina, why is it any concern to you that her myspace link has been posted? you should be congratulating her for coming forward, and doing something big this town has never seen before. lay off a little, will ya?

wow. i could see your concern if the minor was 16 or under, however…in this case i find it annoying. this girl is legally able to vote in a primary in some states, is able to consent to sex, and is legally allowed to get married with a waiver from her parents….stop nitpicking and see the article for what it was, a congratulations for a very lucky young woman.
