“Top Chef” Gudge match to kick-off new season
Season one’s most notorious against season two’s crazies - that’s how Bravo TV will kick-off the new season of “Top Chef” tonight (Jun. 6).
Back are our favorite or most disliked characters including Harold Dieterle, Stephen Asprinio, Tiffani Faison, and Dave Martin all from season one and Ilan Hall, Sam Talbot, Elia Aboumrad, and Marcel Vigneron. They will be competing in a competition for $20,000 to be awarded to an unknown charity.
In a twist the two teams will be serving their creation to the 15 contestants who are scheduled to start their completion next week Wednesday. Sitting at the judges’ table will be Padma Lakshmi, Tom Colicchio, Gail Simmons, Ted Allen.
What a fun way to start a new season. By bringing back the previous season and all their drama Bravo TV just keeps raising the reality TV bar, again and again!
I hope we will be getting a little background on what the winners of the two seasons have been doing with their time. Various news reports have Illan jetting around the world spending his winnings, while season one winner Harold Dieterle appears to be working on a restaurant project in NY City called “Perilla”
The show airs tonight at 10 p.m. with the regular season starting next week on Bravo TV.
