Enough with the Sara Evans story on Dancing With the Stars
All this hullabaloo about Sara Evans pulling out of the show. I feel really bad that she has personal problems and obviously a jerk husband but come on, she should have been voting out weeks ago anyway. Do I sound insensitive? I don’t mean to and I’m impressed that her priorities are with her kids, where they should be, and she didn’t let a popular TV show change that. But enough is enough.
The Mario and Eva Longoria clip made me kind of ill. Does anyone actually believe they are JUST old friends? Yeah right. Rumor has it that sweet little Mario broke up Eva’s long term relationship with basketball star Tony Parker.
Anyway Mario and Karina did the Mambo, Judges score: 28 out of 30
Let me just say Mario’s “pull the cheeks inâ€? sexy face drives me nuts. He doesn’t need to do that because he’s so hot without the put on face, but that aside he is a really, really good dancer. He really could have a professional career in dance after this if he gets sick of hosting an Animal Planet show.
Monique and Louis do the Samba, Judges score: 23 out of 30
How many people out there have heard of Tommy the Clown? I knew the term Krumping from So You Think You Can Dance but krumping in the Samba? However, I must say that girl is coming out of her shell a little more each week. I loved this dance even though the judges were over critical.
Joey and Edyta did a Rumba, Judges score: 24 out of 30 Joey’s wife judging the sexy was just a little odd. This was not the steamiest Rumba I’ve ever seen but I thought Joey did better in the sexy department than I thought. For such a boy next door sweetie pie, he brought the sexy just fine. Just fine indeed.
Emmitt and Cheryl did the high energy jive, Judges score: 25 of 30
Loved this dance. It’s my favorite Emmitt dance of the entire season. He let loose and really enjoyed himself while at the same time keeping all the steps up. Charming, charming, and wonderful joy!
Jerry and Kym were playing at the Paso Doble, Judges score: 18 out of 30
I really think Jerry is just trying to be kicked off while he has a bunch of fun. They are smart keeping his dances to silliness, but okay gang, enough is enough, send the poor man home. People, he’s begging us to send him home. Stop voting for him.
The group disco will have no judges votes so it’s all for our pleasure. Not that the judges votes seem to mean much so far this season. I guess these days I seem to be enjoying Joey even more than Mario because I thought his Disco was much better. What a fun dance. Mostly because I remember doing it myself on a lighted dance floor. Everything but the lifts, oh and not the splits, and I guess no cartwheels. Okay, it was my version of the Disco but it was fun nonetheless.
Obviously Jerry must go this week. He is way past must go, but taking him out of the equation is tough because the rest of them are really good. If I had to choose, as much as I love Emmitt…but he did better than any other week to me tonight. Okay, bottom two, Jerry and Emmitt. Even though it kills me to say that this week.
This is getting tougher and tougher to call. Don’t ya think?
