Paula Abdul Not Lovin’ the Jail Bait
Maybe it’s just me, but it seems that Paula Abdul has something against young men this season of American Idol. She usually has a kind word for the horrible, an encouraging word for the mediocre, and great adulation for the really good. But in my opinion, she’s staying away from sending males under 18 through to Hollywood even if they have pretty good voices. Maybe not the greatest, but better than some I’ve seen her send through. Even those that both Simon and Randy say yes on. Now that’s just odd.
Could it be that they are not quite charming enough to catch her eye? Not quite grown out of the teenage awkwardness yet? She doesn’t have a problem with the young girls around the same age.
Is it that they are just too young to “take under her wing� as she did with Corey Clark last year and has others in years past? A little afraid of the jail bait Paula?

I hadn’t really put those two things together - but maybe that’s it… I kept wondering why Paula was saying no to guys I thought were good! We shall see if the same thing happens next Tuesday. Let’s hope she puts talent before age!
