“Men Say it, Women Feel it” Battle between Men and Women rages on!

In episode 2 of The Apprentice 4, the teams were assigned the task of creating a print ad and a 30 second TV commercial for Lamborghini, the Italian carmaker.

I’m not sure why it is that men think they know it all when it comes to cars, but this attitude got in the way of executing the details. It seems that Marcus, while being really annoying, was able to catch errors the other testosterone driven members missed, but was unable to convince team Excel to make changes.

Team Capital Edge, capitalized on its edge as women to sell the passion and emotion created by the car. As one of the Judges said, “…Men say it, Women feel it…â€?

The real drama, other than a skirmish with Marcus, was in the boardroom. Carolyn and George were clearly in-charge and running the boardroom and challenging the team captain Chris on his choices. For the first several seasons we didn’t see their passion, this episode we did.

One clue for any budding wannabe, if you are going to be on any TV show that has already aired, WATCH IT! Chris, what a goof, always bring more than yourself into the final boardroom.

Lessons learned: Women can sell cars. Men, we can’t do everything! (Although I’d like to continue to think we can… it makes me feel better).
