Extreme Model Makeover
It’s amazing what a few hours in the makeover chair did for these regular looking girls. Everyone but Cassandra loved their new look, and they should have! The girls all looked fantastic after their time with the big-time hair and makeup crew. Coryn and Diane, who I didn’t think had a chance in this competition, made huge strides at looking more modelesque.
Is anyone surprised that Robo-Cassandra showed some emotion when they chopped and dyed her pageant-winning hair? She’s no less annoying now that she’s learning how to be Mod, she’s just found a different way to make all of the girls hate her. The one girl who might have known how to dress Mod, Lisa, continues to put off everyone else with her pompass attitude. Fortunately, they can’t be voted out by anyone other than Tyra and her posse, because they deserve to be around longer than most of the other fashion cadets.
My picks, Jayla and Kyle are still sitting pretty, not attracting too much attention. One hint for watching reality TV: Don’t fall in love with someone who gets a lot of screen time in the early episodes. The producers are just showing that person while they can, since they don’t make it far enough to space out the screen time over the entire series. Speaking of a lot of time, how bad would it suck to get your hair braided for 12 hours straight, only to get sent home the next day because your new ‘do was covering part of your face in your photo shoot? I bet it takes less than 12 hours for Ebony to decide to get rid of her dreaded-locks.
