“All of you have major problems”, says Martha

In this week’s Apprentice - Martha Stewart, Martha quips, “All of you have major problems…â€? while choosing whom to say goodbye to in the conference room. Perhaps we are starting to see the Martha we’ve heard so much about. Is the mean Martha around the corner? Let’s not ask the lady who didn’t get a photo op.

Okay, why is all the drama on the creative team, Matchstick? I was hoping for a little more “creative tension” on both teams!

Running a flower shop isn’t that hard yet Chuck has a meltdown, imagine if he was running a real business. They were selling only one type of flower!

Jim is just insane and can we say, PLAYER?

Does David speak?

Bethany, “…we looked like whores…â€?

Dawn, PLEASE stop fighting with everything Jim says… It is really getting to be annoying!

Shawn - pull your team together - you seem to have it all together, or maybe you just know how to work the camera.

The other team -

Not much to note on team Primarius this week. Really, they were pretty boring, although this team seems to have what it takes to work together and get the job done. Maybe good business is really boring.

Best Quote from the winning team, “Rewards aren’t all about taking…â€?

I have to say that I was disappointed that Martha Stewart didn’t get rid of Jim. The guy is a loose cannon. I think that whole team would gel better without him. Dawn might as well go too. Of all the things she claims she did, they did not show us any on the show last night. Creative editing? All she did was walk the streets with marketing flyers. She was right about Chuck. There is no place in the business world for someone that can’t lead a team. And as for his creative ability, bundles of tulips? This is the creative team. Why were they not more creative? They are not relying on their strengths. They should have had different varieties delivered and made their own arrangements. They have the skill. Isn’t that what Chuck does? Flowers? I mean, come on. You are right about Primarius. They weren’t the most exciting. But at least this group has some common sense to make a plan come together and is able to adjust it on the fly. Can’t wait till next week. Martha looked quite upset in the previews. They showed her calling one of the teams back in after she had sent them out. Who could it be this time? Jim? Dawn? Jim and Dawn?

I think Martha had a tough choice on who to send home. If you are looking for team dynamics, Jim is no help to Team Matchstick. He is fostering discontent and loads of drama. His target, Dawn, does not help by her negative attitude. Its obvious they don’t like each other. I can see Martha’s point on eliminating Chuck. He couldn’t handle the high stress environment of the corporate world. But, wouldn’t it have been better to eliminate one of the stressors to the team dynamic and take out Chuck later. I would have sent Jim packing!
