Strickland on national radio: McCain “doesn’t get it”
Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland used the Democratic party’s national weekly radio address on Saturday, Oct. 4. to blast Republican presidential candidate John McCain and praise Democratic candidate Barack Obama.
“John McCain just doesn’t get it,” Strickland said. He said Obama’s plans would provide tax relief to the middle class and get the economy moving again.
In his own weekly radio address, McCain said his plan to cut taxes and lower spending are what the country needs. He didn’t mention Obama.
“I will reach out my hand to anyone to help me get this country moving again,” McCain said.

The nuts are out tonight. Well, since McCain was born in Panama, perhaps we should know if it was truly on the naval base or perhaps, in the parking lot? Of course, we should also question McCain’s mental status since he is a former POW. He is subject to rage and weird outbursts.. This was brought up by Bush in the ‘04 primaries. Just wanted to add more this downturning blog.By radical association

DNC to Silence Lawsuit over Obama Birth Certificate: According to WorldNetDadily, Drew Zahn, a prominent Pennsylvania Democrat and attorney Philip J. Berg filed suit in U.S. District Court two months ago claiming Obama is not a natural-born U.S. citizen and therefore not eligible to be elected president. Berg has since challenged Obama publicly that if the candidate will simply produce authorized proof of citizenship, he’ll drop the suit. Berg told WND the longer the DNC tries to ignore his lawsuit or make it go away – instead of just providing the documents – the more convinced he is that his accusations are correct. Despite assertions by the Washington Post and DNC that Obama has produced a certified Hawaiian birth certificate, Berg told WND he remains “99.99 percent sure” that the certificate is a fake and he wants a court, not a website, to determine its validity. Read the WND report … [Oct. 4, 2008]. We’re not 100% certain if Obama is a legitimate US citizen. But who are Obama’s friends and associates? Do we have the right to know? Do you really support Hussein Obama? ……………………………………………………….. http://www.obamaunveiled.comBy mwm

With the type of insinuations going on now, I would guess it would be fair to accuse McCain of conspiring with communists. Palin, looking for communists out her front window and, the both of them working with a criminal; that would be Carl Rove, you know, Rove, guilty of contempt of congress. To say that Obama is akin to some scripture misinterpretation is a stretch. Of course, it is republican lie based politics… Kind of like Palin’s false accusations the other day. Already found to be a false accusation by most of the media outlets. If they, the republicans, choose to be evil liars, that is their choice. In essence, McCain and Palin are probably running for co-satans. (using conservative logic)By Jerry McGuire

Has everyone lost their MINDS ! Imagine: going to work for a “blue chip” company, showing up for only 143 days and then expecting to be promoted to “PRESIDENT” ! “CFO” ! or “CEO”! (division manager you think?) Obama has only had 143 active days in the US Senate: A “company (country) of 300 million citizens (employees) so to speak ! ZERO “employment” experience. He was a radical activist. Like in Acorn ! One could expect to be promoted to ‘assistant” manager after 143 days with the company of perhaps about 50 employees ! HAVE the citizens of this nation LOST THEIR MINDS ! What are they thinking! WHERE is the outrage?: Obama the POTUS candidate is the least qualified to be POTUS ever in history: We are facing a very bleak future!By American Thinker

First came the disturbing video of very young children singing the praises of Obama, in the style of North Korean children hailing the transformative powers of the Dear Leader. Now comes equally or more disturbing video of older children, this time in uniforms, marching and proclaiming that “because of Obama” they will achieve various accomplishments. Push>>>youtube.com/obamayouthregiment Note the chant “Alpha, Omega” with which these youths march. That reference apparently means that Obama is their god, drawing on the Book of Revelation 1: 8 in the King James Version which reads “I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last.” Obama is running for president, not God…or is he?By Wolverine

Obama is turning out to be The Big Let-Down of ’08. Obama kept insinuating that He is The Second Coming but every time we’ve held our breaths waiting for him to change water into wine, we’ve been disappointed. Obama kept telling us to ‘tune in next week!’ and he never delivers, the miracle never comes. There is nothing there. Obama’s has a problem with clarity. I have systematically studied both his autobiographies and I still don’t know what kind of man I’m dealing with. When he was first showcased on TV, my interest was aroused. I used to find Obama enigmatic, but now he just comes off as vacuous, empty. Obama’s two books address the questions of “Journey of Discovery to Where?” and “Who Am I?” We can all relate to such pondering. But Obama does not give us an answer. If he has found the answer since publishing those two books two years ago then he hasn’t told us yet. McCain has been on a longer and harder personal journey. There can be nothing more extreme than surviving daily torture for five years. Can you imagine that? To be beaten day-in and day-out, starved, your hands and legs bound by chains? McCain already knows what he can take, and humbly knows where he breaks. Every man and woman has a breaking point. It is very human. McCain already knows his, even though he held out as long as he could. What trials or stories of human devastation has Obama endured? I can’t imagine being Black in America is an easy thing. But Obama was raised in Polynesia by white grandparents and then went on to Harvard, community service, the Senate, and now the presidency. Obama’s journey seems to have been very easy. His skin color opened all the right doors for him instead of slamming them shut. Obama didn’t march against segregation. Obama didn’t fight for affirmative action. He planted no tree. He carried no water for that tree. Obama has just come along and picked the fruits. That is easy street. This is not a great American story. This is not a triumph of will over adversity. This is a story of baby-boomer entitlement. This is the story of the yuppy next door. These stories are a dime a dozen on aisle 3 at Whole Foods. You may agree or disagree with McCain but at least you know where he stands. He has a long track record to judge him by. McCain has a long list of hits and misses. He has made mistakes (like us all) but that is because he had been trying to do things and change things all his life. Obama markets himself as the candidate with an unblemished record, but that is only because he doesn’t have a record. We have nothing to judge Obama by. All he gives us is his word and we are supposed to put all our trust in his future promises. But these promises keep changing: Obama has produced two contradictory promises on Iraq, two contradictory promises on NAFTA, and two contradictory promises on taxes. Are we supposed to judge him by the original promise he made, or by his most recent one? The candidate who flows with the changing winds of polls is the lightweight. That much we know. I feel very embarrassed for buying into the Obama phenomena. Maybe now that the weather is changing I see things in a new light. I feel sheepish for falling for the marketing pitch. Where do I go to get a refund? I think that many voters like me are looking for clarity in our next president. I feel I know what kind of man McCain is, and that I can trust him. McCain gets my vote.By mwm

Sorry but verifiable physical evidence would be a device, component or complete weapon system. And not a bunch of words. Just as Powell’s speech to the UN on fake aluminum tubes and “artist renditions” of mobile chem labs were nothing but lies. Essentially, show the physical evidence. Between 1991 and 1998 the IAEA conducted more than 1500 inspections. IAEA released a report in 1997, with updates in 1998 and 1999, which it believes offers a technically coherent picture of Iraq’s nuclear program. In summary, the IAEA report says that following the August 1990 invasion of Kuwait, Iraq launched a “crash program” to develop a nuclear weapon quickly by extracting weapons grade material from safe-guarded research reactor fuel. This project, if it had continued uninterrupted by the war, might have succeeded in producing a deliverable weapon by the end of 1992.[1] The IAEA inspections revealed seven nuclear-related sites in Iraq. [2] The IAEA reports that all sensitive nuclear materials were removed, and that facilities and equipment were dismantled or destroyed. Activities uncovered and destroyed included: an industrial scale complex for Electromagnetic Isotope Separation (EMIS), a process for producing enriched uranium. The complex was designed for the installation of 90 separators; before the Gulf War, eight were functional. If all separators had been installed, the plant could have produced 15 kg of highly enriched uranium per year, possibly enough for one nuclear weapon. a large scale manufacturing and testing facility—the Al Furat Project—designed for the production of centrifuges, used in another method of uranium enrichment. facilities and equipment for the production of weapons components. computer simulations of nuclear weapons detonations storage of large quantities of HMX high explosive used in nuclear weapons. According to former U.N. inspector David Kay, Iraq spent over $10 billion during the 1980s in an attempt to enrich uranium and build a nuclear weapon. However, the Agency concludes that as of December, 1998, “There were no indications to suggest that Iraq was successful in its attempt to produce nuclear weapons,” or “that there remains in Iraq any physical capability for the production of amounts of weapons-usable nuclear material of any practical significance.” However, the IAEA did find that “Iraq was at, or close to, the threshold of success in such areas as the production of [highly enriched uranium] … and the fabrication of the explosive package for a nuclear weapon.” Despite the fact that the facilities and nuclear material had been destroyed or removed, as early as 1996 the IAEA concluded that “the know-how and expertise acquired by Iraqi scientists and engineers could provide an adequate base for reconstituting a nuclear-weapons-oriented program.” Nuclear physicist and Iraqi defector Khidhir Hamza agrees. He told FRONTLINE that Iraq did not relinquish certain critical components of the nuclear program to the inspectors, and that it retains the expertise necessary to build a nuclear weapon. He believes that Iraq may have one completed within the next couple of years. Note: IAEA was allowed back into Iraq in January 2000 and again in January 2001. But its inspectors were blocked from full access inspections. Iraq’s Biological Weapons (BW) Program Between 1991 and 1998, UN inspectors conducted more than 70 inspections into Iraq’s biological warfare activities. In its 1999 final report to the U.N. Security Council, UNSCOM noted that Iraq’s biological warfare program was “among the most secretive of its programs of weapons of mass destruction.” It said that Iraq “took active steps” to conceal the program, including “inadequate disclosures, unilateral destruction, and concealment activities.” Therefore, the Commission concluded, “it has not been possible to verify” Iraq’s statements about the extent and nature of its biological weapons program. A 58 page annex to the final report describes what the Commission was able to learn about the BW program, despite Iraq’s concealment activities, and documents discrepancies between what Iraq claimed to have developed, or destroyed, and the physical evidence. Some of the findings include: Extensive BW program: Iraq had an extensive BW program from 1973 until at least 1991. In mid-1995, Iraq admitted that it had weaponized BW agents, but claimed that the entire BW program had been in “obliterated” in 1991 and that all BW weapons had been destroyed and all bulk BW agents had been deactivated. The Commission found, however, that the evidence produced in support of this claim was not credible, and that Iraq “retained suitable growth media, BW facilities, production equipment, teams of expert personnel, and the essential technical knowledge” after 1991. Bulk production: In July, 1995, Iraq acknowledged that between 1988 and 1991, it had produced two BW agents in bulk: botulinum toxin and Bacillus anthracis spores (anthrax). Iraq reported 19,180 liters of botulinum toxin (10-20 fold concentrated) and 8445 liters of Bacillus anthracis spores (10 fold concentrated). UNSCOM found, however, that “bulk warfare agent production appears to be considerably understated,” given the resources available to Iraq’s BW program, including growth media and fermenter capacity. The Commission said that the production rate of Botulinum toxin could be as much as double the stated amount, and 3 times greater than that stated for Bacillus anthracis spores. Iraq claimed that it unilaterally destroyed more than 7500 liters of the Botulinum toxin and 3412 liters of Bacillus anthracis spores in 1991; UNSCOM noted that there was not evidence to support quantities claimed to be destroyed. The report concludes “the Commission has no confidence that all bulk agents have been destroyed… and that a BW capability does not exist in Iraq.” Iraq also claims to have produced lesser quantities of clostridium perfringens spores, ricin, and wheat cover smut. BW Warheads: Iraq claimed to have produced 25 Al-Hussein missile warheads and filled them with BW agents. The Commission found that there was no credible evidence to show that only 25 missiles were produced and filled. Iraq declared that the 25 missiles were unilaterally destroyed; the Commission found enough physical evidence to account for the declared quantities of BW warheads, but the location of the remnants were inconsistent with Iraq’s story. BW bombs: Iraq declared that 200 R-400 aerial bombs were manufactured for BW purposes, but acknowledged that the numbers of bombs filled with particular agents (100 with botulinum toxin, 50 with bacillus anthracis spores, and 7 with aflatoxin) were “guesses.” UNSCOM did find evidence of the destruction of some BW bombs at the site declared by Iraq, but found that the remnants account for less than one third of the bombs Iraq claims to have destroyed. In addition, UNSCOM found evidence of R-400A bombs carrying BW at an airfield where no BW weapons were declared. Aircraft drop tanks: Iraq claimed that it produced 4 aircraft drop tanks to disseminate BW agents, and was developing a pilotless aircraft that could carry the tanks, holding either BW or chemical weapons, and release the toxins at a preset time. UNSCOM found that there was no evidence corroborate that only 4 were produced, and noted that interviews indicated that 12 were planned. Remnants of only three destroyed tanks were recovered. UNSCOM also rejected the evidence offered by Iraq—a letter thanking the project workers—that the pilotless aircraft project was shut down. Aerosol Generators: Iraq developed aerosol generators for the dispersal of BW agents by modifying helicopter-borne commercial chemical insecticide disseminators. Although Iraq claimed the devices were ineffective, UNSCOM received documentation that they were successfully field tested. Interview evidence suggests that there were 12 devices produced; none were destroyed by UNSCOM. Remaining Bacterial Growth Media: UNSCOM determined that there remained substantial bacterial growth media imported into Iraq which remains unaccounted for: 460 kg. of casien; 80 kg. of thioglocollate broth; 520 kg. of yeast extract; and 1100 kg of peptone. The report says that “the amounts that are ‘missing’ are significant, and would be sufficient to produce quantities of agent comparable to that already declared by Iraq.” Iraq’s Chemical Weapons (CW) Program UNSCOM was more successful in its pursuit of Iraq’s CW program largely because Iraq was more cooperative with its disclosures. The final report notes that a “significant number” of chemical weapons, their components, and related equipment were destroyed under UNSCOM supervision between 1991 and 1997. In addition, the report found: Extensive CW program: Iraq acknowledged that it carried out a large scale CW program between 1982 and 1990. It claims that more than 50% of its chemical weapons stocks were consumed during the 1980s, and that the majority of its production facilities were destroyed by aerial bombing during the Gulf War. Bulk CW agents: Iraq said that it produced 3,859 tons of CW agents during the entire implementation of its CW program, and that 3,315 tons of these agents were weaponized. Agents produced in large quantities included mustard, tabun, and sarin. According to Iraq, 80% of the weaponized CW agents were consumed between 1982 and 1988. In addition, they claim to have unilaterally discarded 130 tons of non-weaponized CW agents during the 1980s. UNSCOM found that these numbers could not be verified. After the Gulf War, Iraq claimed that it had 412.5 tons of CW agents remaining. Four hundred eleven tons were destroyed under UNSCOM supervision; 1.5 tons of the CW agent VX remain unaccounted for. Special Munitions: Iraq claimed that between 1982 and 1988, 100,000 munitions filled with CW agents were consumed or disposed of. UNSCOM found that this number could not be verified. After the Gulf war, Iraq declared that there remained over 56,000 special munitions which could carry either CW or BW agents (22,000 filled, 34,000 unfilled). These munitions are all accounted for. They were either destroyed or converted for conventional weapons purposes. Iraq claimed that there were 42,000 special munitions destroyed in the Gulf War. UNSCOM was unable to verify that number, and found that the destruction of 2,000 unfilled munitions remains uncertain, and 550 filled munitions remain unaccounted for. Iraq claimed that it unilaterally destroyed 29,000 special munitions; UNSCOM found that of these, 100 filled munitions remain unaccounted for.By mwm

Ghost of A, the only way you can validate your claims is to show proof positive verifiable, physical evidence of the existence of a nuclear type WMD that existed prior to the war in Iraq. But, because Bush and the neocons lied about the existence of said weapons, the war itself is a lie based war. Anything that followed, is suspect. Also, an administration that is self possessed with some sort of “moral” and “religious” agenda then, sets up torture of human beings, renderings and, imprisonment without due process; let alone the sexual deviants and criminals within the republican party. As the old quote goes; Fascism will come to America wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross. That would be the republicans….By X

The socialist connections of Obama and the Democratic Party have certainly not been featured in the Washington Post columns of Harold Meyerson, who happens not only to be a member but a vice-chair of the DSA. Campaign workers for Senator and presidential candidate Barack Obama are under fire for displaying a flag featuring communist hero Che Guevara. But Obama has his own controversial socialist connections. He is, in fact, an associate of a Chicago-based Marxist group with access to millions of labor union dollars and connections to expert political consultants, including a convicted swindler. Obama’s socialist backing goes back at least to 1996, when he received the endorsement of the Chicago branch of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) for an Illinois state senate seat. Later, the Chicago DSA newsletter reported that Obama, as a state senator, showed up to eulogize Saul Mendelson, one of the “champions” of “Chicago’s democratic left” and a long-time socialist activist. Obama’s stint as a “community organizer” in Chicago has gotten some attention, but his relationship with the DSA socialists, who groomed and backed him, has been generally ignored. In his twenties in the early 1980’s, Barack used an Indonesian passport to visit his archaeologist mom in Pakistan. But Indonesia apparently does not allow dual citizenship so how could Barack (living in the USA) have an Indonesian passport and yet be an American citizen? Things that make you go hmmm. Barack says he first became a Christian in his twenties when he joined Trinity — a Christian church that sells Nation of Islam DVDs, gave a lifetime achievement award to Louis Farrakhan, and was built up by Jeremiah Wright, a former black Muslim (according to Jerome Corsi). On This Week With George Stephanopoulis, Barack made a classic Freudian slip, referring to “my Muslim faith.” George quickly reminded him that he is a Christian. No genuine Christian could accidentally say the words “my Muslim faith.” It’d be like you accidentally saying “my Martian birthplace.”By Posse

Felons are being followed and targted…for votes. You say, no way? Dead serious friends. And by Barry Hussein Obama. Roughly 13 percent of black men nationwide have lost the right to vote, according to the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University’s School of Law, which advocates the reform of felon voting rights. Black ministers, civic leaders and activists believe they are a rich source of votes for Obama. “Of course I would go with Barack,” said Deshawn Tatem, a dreadlocked drug dealer-turned-activist from Chesapeake, Va. One of the main reasons we are having a financial melt down is because of the outcry for low cost housing a decade ago. This resulted in Fannie May and other lenders responding to Acorn, and other political groups which were, and still are supported by Barack Obama. In fact, Obama and the Democrats want to spend a TRILLION DOLLARS on other welfare programs as well … while raising taxes. Although Americans might enjoy some immediate short term tax benefits, Obama’s plans, which are based upon Americans ‘eating the goose that lays the golden eggs’, will lead our country to another depression.By mwm

Gwen Ifill a biased moderator at the VP debate, you betcha. What do you expect from a woman wanting to make a buck for writing about the four up and rising black Dems stars? Really sickening making the round before the week was out. This media deal is like The Brave New World book. Socialism and a government controlled system, using the media to brainwash us. Scarry really, but it appears many Americans parked their brains years ago. Gwen Ifill spoke about her experience moderating Thursday’s vice-presidential debate. She said in one instance Sarah Palin “blew me off” when asked a question, opting rather to speak “directly to the American people,” as Governor Palin put it at the time. “Joe Biden,” Ms Ifill said, “decided he was going to debate John McCain and [Sarah Palin] decided she was going to give a stump speech to the American people.” “If she wasn’t challenged on the things she said that were not completely correct and if she wasn’t challenged on changing the subject…by her competitor, I had another job at the table,” Ms Ifill said.By Machiavellian

Congress, ACORN smacked down More ACORN stories: here • Fraud stories: here ‘Crucial battle over reality’ With most people riveted to the battle between John McCain and Barrack Obama, little mainstream media attention is being paid to a raging battle that has as much, if not more, potential impact on Americans than the quadrennial fight for the White House. And even more important than today’s vote on the bailout bill that just passed the House 263-171. That battle is over the public perception of how we got into the financial mess we find ourselves. And while facts would seem to be facts, the picture of “reality” that becomes the accepted conventional wisdom is of crucial importance. The socialists are desperate to not take the well-deserved blame for the debacle. There is a growing realization that if the American people learn the role played by Barney Frank, ACORN, Barack Obama, and the horde of other subsidy-seeking politicians, support for their welfare will dry up. And with it, so too will support for their schemes to soak the American taxpayers. The truth is well known and is slowly getting reported. Starting with the Community Reinvestment Act and then the 1995 Clinton administration regulations, liberals and their socialist allies pushed banks and other lending institutions to extend loans to people who could not afford them. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac encouraged and then bullied lenders to extend these loans by all but eliminating any standards to qualify. Even the New York Times in 1999 noted the policy implications. Fannie and Freddie then bought the bad paper, packaged it up and sold it on Wall Street with the implied backing of the U.S. taxpayers. When responsible legislators tried to rein in the reckless lending, they were blocked. Barney Frank, the pompous elitist who now runs from any responsibility, is on video a dozen times denouncing any move to tighten lending standards. John McCain fought to tighten it up in 2003 and again in 2006 and was rejected by the very same left-wing politicians who now cry crocodile tears about the disaster they worked to create. As all those bad loans went bad and housing prices began to fall, investors lost confidence, and we find ourselves where we are today. But this is not the “reality” the left wants the American people to accept. They present a far different story. In their dream-world, none of the things that are on the record — on video tape, in print, in the official documents —- matter. For them, the whole delusional chimera is about predatory lenders conning people into signing loan papers; it’s about a helpless population —- people who can’t tie their own shoes or feed themselves without a government bureaucrat at their side — being taken to the cleaners by slick Wall Street types. Once again, the socialist hide behind their ideology of victimhood. And once again, it is a lie. Only this time, if the American people get sucked into believing the lie, it could cost us all our freedom and any chance of future prosperity. The head of the National Urban League has demanded that Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson spew their spin. Barney Frank has been making the rounds of talk shows, pugnaciously claiming he is the savior while ignoring his past actions to enable Fannie and Freddie to inject their poison into the American financial system. Joe “make-it-up-as-you-go” Biden points a finger of blame at everyone except those involved (which may not be all that surprising when one realizes that the single largest contributor to Biden’s political coffers is Bank of America’s MBNA). These are the battle lines. On one side, facts and recorded history. On the other, perpetrators and co-conspirators weaving the myth of victimhood into a rancid stew of lies and class-warfare. The outcome is far from decided. And the stakes could not be any higher. - Bill Wilson is president of Americans for Limited GovernmentBy L Berry

The new approach for McCain is to use Rove style division politics. All this will do is create more anger within our country. And, the anger will be directed towards McCain. We have an economy that is swirling in the toilet and McCain/Palin try personal attacks on Obama. This is to avoid the issues. And create division. If McCain/Palin were to win on division politics, they would end up with a divided nation. And, very little support from the American public. If McCain/Palin stick to the issues, they will be running an honorable campaign. But, since they have chosen the Rove tactics, they will be considered garbage and Obama will win. This is not 2004 and the American people have seen the damage the republicans have done.By soros

John McCain has made a mockery of American politics by selecting Sarah Palin as his running mate. Palin’s selection, which wouldn’t fly in any field that requires credentials, is a testament to the Republican propaganda machine. The fact that a large segment of the population has bought into the notion that education, knowledge, and intellect doesn’t matter, is truly baffling and very troubling. We should all be outraged that John McCain has put our country at risk by attempting such a cynical political stunt.By Principled

In 1932 a man travelled to the convention in a wheel chair, forced himself up in the standing position on his paralyzed legs to accept the nomination for president of the USA, and then started his campaign to deliver our nation from the worse depression we hope our nation will never see again. —President Roosevelt “John McCain fought to rein in Fannie and Freddie,” says the announced. “The Post says: McCain ‘pushed for stronger regulation’…’while Mr. Obama was notably silent.’ But, Democrats blocked the reforms. Loans soared. Then, the bubble burst. And, taxpayers are on the hook for billions. Bill Clinton knows who is responsible.” Cut to the former president: “I think the responsibility that the Democrats have may rest more in resisting any efforts by Republicans in the Congress or by me when I was President to put some standards and tighten up a little on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.” The announcer again: “You’re right, Mr. President. It didn’t have to happen.”By Meman

The only reason I voted for him was I thought Blackwell was worse, sorry Ohio I won’t make that misstake again. First he stands behind Hillary looking a rapper thug and Obama is bad and now he’s all that. I did the same thing with Brown what a joke. Do your own homework the current congress is a joke too, look at their voting record at house.gov. Out of 1900 some thing issues voted on only around ten mean anything. Give me a break national water melon week. And the senate isn’t any better. They are sitting around waiting for someone like Obama to rubber stamp their junk into law.By D. Dean

I thought George W. Bush was the worst thing that ever happened to this country, until I got a good look at Sarah Palin. John McCain is showing early signs of Alzheimers. My mother died after a long battle with the illness and I recognize it when I see it. The scary part is, his campaign knows it and they are getting ready to anoint the New Apostolic Reformation, Joel’s Army, Later Rain, Third Wave Movement, Manifest Sons of God, Committee on National Policy, fundamentalist Evangelical Sarah Palin as the next President of the United States, five minutes after McCain is sworn in. According to Sarah Palin’s beliefs, Joel’s Army is prophesied to become an Armageddon-ready military force of young people with a divine mandate to physically impose Christian “dominion” on non-believers. Sarah Palin is as radical in her beliefs as the Islamic fundamentalist terrorists are in theirs and twice as frightening.By D. Dean

Hey Toni - maybe people think Obama is a Muslim for the same reasons McCain is tied to the Bush policies. You need to do some research too. Obama is not a Muslim but there is no doubt he is a socialist. He also has very poor judgment!By mwm

If McCain/Palin choose to use hate filled political schemes then, they will receive anger in return. It is unfortunate that they resort to Rove style politics this late in the game. It may not work this time…. And, could be ingnored since the economy is in such bad shape. It was republicans that followed Bush into the lie based war in Iraq. And, it is conservatives that support the lies of Bush. Since McCain would continue the policies of Bush, it appears that conservative republicans prefer to follow liars.By Teflon

But you forgot to tell Governor, the following: Obama will have an up hill battle. McCains Retired Army and Navy under ground are working tirelessly to make sure the truth is out reguardless of the failure of MSM to report it. Obama is high toned and low down and his Chicago thug backround can’nt be ignored. The facts are easy enough to check. The FBI Is Investigating Walsh, According To The Chicago Sun-Times. “Two FBI agents spent more than an hour in the Will County Office Building on Wednesday morning as part of an investigation into an elected official. That person seems to be Will County Executive Larry Walsh.” (Stewart Warren, “FBI Probes Will County,” Chicago Sun-Times, 10/2/08) Rezko Was “One Of The Biggest Fundraisers” For Obama. “‘This was discussed a lot. They wanted to have a good showing,’ said a source familiar with the fund-raiser [Rezko held for Obama], speaking on condition of anonymity. ‘Tony was one of the biggest fund-raisers.’” (Chris Fusco and Tim Novak, “Rezko Cash Triple What Obama Says,” Chicago Sun-Times, 6/18/07) Obama Engaged In A “Boneheaded” Land Deal With Rezko Rezko Was Convicted Of Wire And Mail Fraud, Money Laundering, And Aiding And Abetting Bribery. “A federal jury today convicted developer Antoin ‘Tony’ Rezko of corruption charges for trading on his clout as a top adviser and fundraiser to Gov. Rod Blagojevich. … The jury convicted Rezko of wire and mail fraud, money laundering and aiding and abetting bribery. He was acquitted of attempted extortion.” (Bob Secter and Jeff Coen, “Rezko Convicted Of Corruption,” Chicago Tribune, 6/4/08) Obama Supporter Kwame Kilpatrick Pled Guilty To Two Felonies Forcing Him To Step Down As Mayor: Kilpatrick Was An Obama Superdelegate. “Five Michigan democratic superdelegates endorsed Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign on Tuesday, including Rep. Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick and her son, Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick…” (Gordon Trowbridge, “Five More Michigan Superdelegates Endorse Obama,” The Detroit News, 6/4/08) Federal Charges Against Ayers Were Dropped Because Evidence Was Obtained Through An Illegal Wiretap. “Mr. Ayers was also indicted on Federal charges in connection with the disorders, but the Federal charges against Miss Dohrn, Mr. Ayers and other Weathermen were dropped in 1979 when a court ruled that the Government’s evidence had been obtained through illegal telephone wiretaps.” (Nathaniel Sheppard Jr., “Bernadine Dohrn Gives Up To Authorities In Chicago,” The New York Times, 12/4/80) Like Obama said facts are hard things to ingore.By toni

When I read some of these comments, I just wonder why so many feel that Obama is a Muslim. You really need to do the research. Unfortunately most people rely on what they hear instead of finding the real truth. I personally do not want four to eight years of the same. We need significant change in this country. Republicans need to do one thing in the next month - hammer home the point of who got us into this financial mess. Democrats Raines and Johnson were the perpetrators of the mortgage based securiities at Fannie and Freddie. Check out a NYT article written by Steven Holmes 9/30/99. on ‘01 the adminstration budget warned of the need for regulation of Fannie and Freddie but the Dems, under the guise of affordable housing and with our attention forcused on 9/11, squelched any regulation. In ‘02 the Wall Street Journal warned about the mortgage backed securities. Historically between the Civil War and WWII such securites had been tried and failed 6 times. In ‘03 the administration recommend regulatory changes again (there is a CSpan video showing then Sec Treasurer Snow testifying to that effect. In ‘04 Greenspan warned of the issue, a Congressional hearing ensued and which can be found on YouTube showing Cong Frank, Meeks, Waters and others all saying Fannie and Freddie are fine with Waters noting “the fine leadership of Franklin Raines. Again in ‘05, the Senate Banking Comm voted to improse regulations; however, all the Dems voted against it and through procedures prevented it from coming to the floor for a vote. In ‘06 Sen McCain co sponsered a bill offering greater regulatory controls; but, it was voted down. Why were the Dems against it? 1st, affordable housing for all - a good intention; however, the path to hell is paved with good intentions and folks were buying homes who couldn’t afford them. 2nd, it was a money pit for Dems. Campaign contributions were abundant favoring the Dems as well as small favors such as Countrywide’s loan for Dodd. I’ve read several times about the alleged “damage” Bush has done to this country - but there is no question the real damage done to our economic system has been perpetrated by the Democrats! Those 10,000 forclosures that someone alluded to lay at their feet!By painfultruth

Did Strickland say he was approving Obama’s character? Associations matter, and when there is a long consistant pattern of him associating with american hating, convicted thugs, radical terriorist, and voter fraud groups, it begs for investigation. Who’s on the list? 1.Bill Ayers-terriorits, bombed USA in the 60’s;Co-executive board member w/ Obama, held ‘announcement party’ for Obama’s senate race. 2.Tony Rezko-Convict and shaddy real estate dealer. Sold Obama land below value, in exchange for $millions of state funds 3. Rev. Jeremy Wright-Obama’s Pastor for 20 years, USA white and gov’t hater, teaches black liberation theology, Obama’s titled boook ‘Audacity of Hope’ was from a Wright sermon. He married Obama & Michelle, baptized their children 4.ACORN-voter reg. fraud, ex-Obama employer, relationship with Fannie/Freddie bad loans 5.Franklin Raines-ex CEO Fannie, adv. for Obama, walked away with $90M, proven to cook books at Fannie 6. Jim Johnson-ex CEO Fannie, Chair of Obama VP search team, walked away $20M 7.Mayor Dailey-Chicago Mayor convicted of ties to Chicago Mob, political mentor for Obama 8.Ahmadinejab-USA hating Iran’s President soon to be friend of Obama 9.Louis Farrakhan-bigot and anti-semitic,Obama worked with on Million-Man-March. Obama has praised Farrakhan in his books, and given speech’s with him. 10.Saul Alinky- Auth/Mentor for Obama, wrote ‘Rules for Radicals’, Obama followed radical doctrine while community organizer 11.Father PFleger-Radical Chicago Priest, kicked out of diocese, who gave speech on hating whites, and calling Hillary Clinton a ‘white entitlist’, while giving speech at Obama and Rev. Wright’s church 12.Rashid Khalidi-The co-founder of the Arab group, Columbia Univ. prof, is a harsh critic of Israel, worked on behalf of the PLO a terror group.Khalidi held a fundraiser in 2000 for Obama’s run for U.S. Hs. of Represt. I may have understood, did Governor Strickland say Obama’s friends at Fannie Mae and Congress, inluding Waters and Clay, and Raines were going to be prosecuted. It appears on its face, Raines should be facing felony charges. Or is that just for Ken Lay and the Enron bunch. McCain only needs to tell the American public he will have Raines prosecuted to the fullest extent of federal law to win this election. Anyone think Obama would pursue it? Hell, he seriously contemplated giving Billary a Supreme Court seat.By Ethel S.

We get it and do not like it, Gov.Strickland. Sen. Obama said he was on the Banking Committee of the Senate (lie), but his buddies were and did we ever get tanked! The Do Nothing Dem Congress finally did something and get us into deep deep debt and this bailout is only the beginning. And here is something else we get and that all of us will have make the sacrifices while the special interests and lobbyists will have a lot of work to do with good pay. It is so interesting that Sen. Obama talks about the middle class ($250,000) and most of us do not even make near that much. And the biggest thing we get is that Sen. Obama cannot and will not have enough money to provide anything for any of us. He will then blame GWB for Sen. Obama’s lack of experience, use GWB as excuse for failing to do anything, and go back on his promises just like he did on Campaign Finance Reform FISA, the NAFTA (private conversation in Canada that he did not mean his tough talk), forgetting about Rev. Wright no more than his white grandmother, etc. We simply cannot afford these Do Nothing Promise Everything Dems with Sen. Obama as the Head. At least, Sen. McCain will put this country first and try to keep businesses alive to keep jobs, not tax us to death to pay for stupid and failed programs, keep up with national security, and head toward energy security with the development of jobs in that industry. Did Governor Strickland make the following pronouncements, no? Obama’s extensive connections with Islam and radical politics, from his father and step-father’s Islamic backgrounds, to his Communist and socialist mentors in Hawaii and Chicago, to his long-term and close associations with former Weather Underground heroes William Ayers andBernadette Dohrn — associations much closer than heretofore revealed by the press. Barack and Michelle’s 20-year-long religious affiliation with the black-liberation theology of former Trinity United Church of Christ Reverend Jeremiah Wright, whose sermons have always been steeped in a rage first expressed by Franz Fanon , Stokely Carmichael and Malcolm X, a rage that Corsi shows has deep meaning for Obama. Obama’s continuing connections with Kenya, the homeland of his father, through his support for the candidacy of Raila Odinga, the radical socialist presidential contender who came to power amid Islamist violence and church burnings. Obama’s involvement in the slum-landlord empire of the Chicago political fixer Tony Rezko, who helped to bankroll Obama’s initial campaigns and to purchase of Barack and Michelle’s dream-home property. The background and techniques of the Obama campaign’s cult of personality, including the derivation of the words “hope” and change.” Obama’s far-left domestic policy, his controversial votes on abortion, his history of opposition to the Second Amendment, his determination to raise capital-gains taxes, his impractical plan to achieve universal health care, and his radical plan to tax Americans to fund a global-poverty-reduction program. Obama’s naïve, anti-war, anti-nuclear foreign-policy, predicated on the reduction of the military, the eradication of nuclear weapons and an overconfidence in the power of his personality, as if belief in change alone could somehow transform international politics, achieve nuclear-weapons disarmament and withdrawal from Iraq without adverse consequences, for us, for the Iraqis or for Israel.By CONNIE

Obama’s radical associations are most definitely relevant to American voters. It is the nationwide consensus of anyone not guzzling Obama-koolaid, that if the Wright videos had been exposed BEFORE Iowa, little Barry would not even be the nominee. WHY do you Obama idiots think Bill Clinton is still so angry??? Obama is in the big leagues now, and most of mainstream America was NOT paying attention during the primaries when Obama’s radical mentors were revealed…but they ARE paying attention now! That is why it is the perfect time to revisit the anti-American, radical and racist views of EVERYONE Obama chose to surround himself with for the last 2 decades. Middle America will be appalled and disgusted by what they see, and they will rally to keep such gutter filth out of the White House! It is also time to show some video of Michele Obama’s race-baiting and hate-filled speeches in South Carolina during the primary, because the American people deserve to see the REAL Michele, not the black Jackie Kennedy Stepford wife they have turned her into…they actually think Americans are stupid enough to fall for the “repackaging trick” they have performed on both Barry and Michele. Ted Strickland is a farse and as phoney as The Chosen 1. He is a virtual unknown in southern Ohio, a nobody, the same as Brown. Both are novices and have done nothing but position Ohio for this election.Republicans ceam up their own mess, unlike Dems, and that’s the only reason Brown and Strickland were elected. And, they both just blame the other party for problems they make. It seems every state going to hell ecomically is putting in a Dem. Its time to get the hell out of this state. Its name is well earned; the ruse belt, and Strickland has been a catalyst for its destruction.Ohio has the highest unemployment in 15 years, lost 300K residents, and raised taxes to the top 10 in the nation- all under the Dem Strickland. McPain also doesn’t have a clue about how to reform health care. If you have tried to get private health insurance, you know that the companies want a COMPLETE health history, and then they exclude any medical conditions that you have had in the past, even minor ones like acne! If you need expensive health care, the insurance company will investigate your past to see if they can dig up any related illness and try to deny paying for care! The older you get, the more it costs. We are in our early 50s and pay about $900 per month PLUS deductibles for private coverage! And if we use our coverage, it makes our rates go up even higher. This health care racket has to stop! Elect Obama!By Kahlil Gabrin

So the latest plan is for McCain to go on the attack in the campaign’s final month, questioning Obama’s honesty, bringing up old quotes taken out of context (as Palin did on Fox the day after the VP debate), hammering away at individuals that Obama distanced himself from long ago. More negativity and lame attempts at divisiveness, and it’s very reminiscent of the national mood that has been molded under the reign of George Bush. It worked in 2004 — largely by the politics of fear — but I think it will fall flat in 2008. With 10,000 foreclosures a month and joblessness climbing, despite a bailout agreement whose effectiveness is questionable at best, negative campaigning is the last thing people want to hear.By mwm

Bush lied in order to start the war in Iraq. He got an MBA out of Harvard… Alot of good that did! His father got him into the ANG to avoid service in VietNam. Also, got him out of the DWI and cocaine use. McCain, was able to go to the Naval Academy due to his fathers influence. And, was at the bottom of his class, like Bush. Like Bush, McCain supports the war in Iraq, a lie based war and, considers a 100 year occupation. The republican party is not what it used to be. They are evil criminals with the intent to support the wealthy at the expense of the poor. Community organizers work with the poor and help bring about change. It is a social justice front. This concept is unknown to republicans since they are focused on the rich, powerful and religious segments of population. Obama has a better understanding of economics, social and political justice. He also knows the constitution of our great country. Bush, on the other hand, raped and mocked our constitution. McCain and Palin ignore it.By John

It’s a shame that the previous post was even allowed by the DDN!!!! First of all the user name is racist!!!! Second of all, community organizers are pastors, civil rights lawyers, union stewards, and volunteers of all stripes. MLK was a community organizer, Paul Revere was a community organizer, Christ was a community organizer, and so were all of our country’s founding fathers. This idiot is merely reciting talking points from that fat oxycontin loud mouth Rush Limpbaugh, and absolutely has no fricking idea what he’s talking about. WHAT exactly does a “community organizer” do? Barack Obama’s rise has left many Americans asking themselves that question. Here’s a big part of the answer: Community organizers intimidate banks into making high-risk loans to customers with poor credit. In the name of fairness to minorities, community organizers occupy private offices, chant inside bank lobbies, and confront executives at their homes - and thereby force financial institutions to direct hundreds of millions of dollars in mortgages to low-credit customers. In other words, community organizers help to undermine the US economy by pushing the banking system into a sinkhole of bad loans. And Obama has spent years training and funding the organizers who do it.
