What am I missing, part deux
OK, my ignorance is both broad and deep. But I still don’t get it.
GM is closing it’s Moraine truck assembly plant. The plant means a minimum of $5 million a year in income tax revenue to the city of Moraine. The city’s total annual revenue is around $20 million to $25 million.
So, one-quarter to one-fifth of your annual revenue is vanishing. And what is the City Council debating?
Who should hire and fire the police chief and the fire chief.
The only explanation I can come with is the old saw that eventually people get the government they deserve.
