Ex-Gov. Blagojevich set to star in reality TV show
An attorney close to former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, who plead not guilty Tuesday, April 14, to racketeering and fraud charges, says Blagojevich wants permission to leave the country to begin filming an NBC reality TV show titled “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” in Costa Rica.

Here’s what NBC had to say:
“Based on the hit U.K. reality show, “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” is a groundbreaking live series event premiering June 1 and stripped over four weeks in June. Ten celebrities of various backgrounds will be dropped into the heart of the Costa Rican jungle to face challenges designed to test their skills in adapting to the wilderness and to raise money for their favorite charities. Rod Blagojevich will be a participant on the show pending the court’s approval.”
That’s right, the ousted governor can’t go unless he gets permission from a federal judge.
Do you think the judge will let him go? Would you? If “Blago” is allowed to go to Costa Rica for the show, will you watch it?

This is ridiculous. NBC must really be in trouble…..our local county jail is full of people who would love to be “dropped off” in a Costa Rican jungle…By sigh

This is absolutely sickening and is a testament to how slimy this guy is. How hard was it for NBC to find C & D list celebs to be on this show? The only circumstances I would ever watch this would be if there was an episode where he was being violently mauled by a Jaguar…By donut-ho
