Say goodbye to ‘Jurassic Park 4’ … for now

According to ComingSoon.net, producers for ‘Jurassic Park 4’ say that plans for the sequel to the popular dinosaur franchise have fallen through.

When asked about the film, one of the producers took Michael Crichton’s death as a sign that not following through with the sequel was a good idea.

But just because the producers are no longer interested doesn’t mean that the movie won’t be made, right? According to the folks over at CinemaBlend.com, Universal Studios is still interested in developing ‘Jurassic Park 4.’ Universal, apparently, still has the producers working on the sequel as well as a fourth ‘Bourne’ movie.

Do we want disinterested producers working on the next Jurassic Park? Probably not, but could they really make anything worse than ‘Jurassic Park III’?

IMDB.com has two proposed story ideas for the fourth film.

  • One involves the rebirth of the disease the wiped out the dinosaurs only this time it begins wiping out humans.
  • The other involves half dino / half human hybrid commandos.

Let’s hope that second proposal never comes to fruition.

What would you want to see in another Jurassic Park sequel? Throw some ideas around.
