‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ trailer

A new trailer for the upcoming Harry Potter film, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” has been released onto the Internet. Watch it:

I am really excited about this film because it was my favorite book in the Harry Potter series.

This film was originally schedules to be released in November of this year but was pushed back to early summer 2009. I heard some early reviews from people who received advanced screenings of the film and none of them had anything good to say. Hopefully Warner Bros. will use the extra time they gave themselves to listen to the reviews and make some changes. I really don’t want my favorite book of the series turned into my most disliked movie of the series.

What do you think of the trailer? Did you notice the extra scenes they added that weren’t in the book (Example: the Weasley’s home, The Burrow, on fire after an attack by the Death Eaters)? Let’s hope additional scenes didn’t come at the cost of important ones.
