Fall TV lineups feel the sting of writers strike

Looking for a new TV show to Tivo or DVR this fall? Well ABC and CBS might have something for you, but the selections don’t sound strong in my book.

ABC will only have 2 new shows this fall

One show is about a time shifted detective (which sounds like the makings for a good comedy but is another drama instead) and the other is a family oriented game show (just what we needed). I have never had a lot of faith in ABC’s programming (with LOST and Ugly Betty being the exceptions) and these 2 new shows for the fall do nothing to renew my confidence in them. » Learn more about ABC’s new TV shows

CBS will be adding 4 dramas and 2 comedies next season

Four more dramas? Really? Will they all be titled ‘CSI: Enter City Name Here’? Though I do have to give them kudos for their past comedy decisions (I love ‘How I Met Your Mother’). » I’ll let you read for yourself what their new shows are about

So what do you think? Do any other these sound remotely interesting to you? Will you add these shows to your Tivo or DVR or is your queue already too full from all the other shows you watch?

Naw- waste of time viewing some of the reality shows and regular shows on TV nowadays.Seems as if networks are really struggling to provide anything of interest anymore.

I agree it does sound like USA’s ‘Psychic’. The rest sound horribly bad. If they had some five year olds plan out our line up it would be better.
