Harry Potter Film Festival

The Little Art Theatre in Yellow Springs (near Dayton, OH) is going to show the first 4 Harry Potter movies for the four weeks leading up to the release of the 5th movie. Kids 12 and under get in free with a paid adult. (Adult admission is $5.50.) Here’s the sked:

June 16 - 1pm - Sorcerer’s Stone
June 23 - 1pm - Chamber of Secrets
June 30 - 1pm - Prisoner of Azkaban
July 7 - 1pm - Goblet of Fire

This is a great chance to prepare yourself for the new film version of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and the seventh and final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. Come relive the excitement of the first four Harry Potter movies at the Little Art this summer!

The Little Art Theatre in Yellow Springs is offering a free showing of the 1945 film noir classic, "Detour," as a tribute to actress Ann Savage, who died on Christmas Day. The screening will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at the theater, located at 247 Xenia Avenue (Ohio 68) in Yellow Springs. "Detour," directed by Edgar G. Ulmer, is a masterpiece of film noir: Roger Ebert called it one of the all-time greats — this is an opportunity not to be missed. More »
