Three youngsters who attend Lakota schools and live in Monroe have started a neighborhood coffee stand to make a little money and learn some business skills. We woke up at the crack of dawn to go meet these entrepreneurs and take a picture. Click here to read all about it.

The Little Art Theatre in Yellow Springs is offering a free showing of the 1945 film noir classic, "Detour," as a tribute to actress Ann Savage, who died on Christmas Day. The screening will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at the theater, located at 247 Xenia Avenue (Ohio 68) in Yellow Springs. "Detour," directed by Edgar G. Ulmer, is a masterpiece of film noir: Roger Ebert called it one of the all-time greats — this is an opportunity not to be missed. More »
