We would love to share your photos in print. The process for getting them to us is simple. E-mail communitynews@coxohio.com with the photo attached and information in the e-mail about who is in the photo, what event is taking place and when. You are also invited to post the photo online for direct publishing on our Web site at pulsejournal.com/yourphotos. Pictures will be selected based on print space and content. Please make sure the photo is large enough to be reprinted (at least 300k or higher).
Also, don’t forget for a small fee the Monroe Pulse-Journal can do reprints of photos that have been published. We also offer PDFs of news pages. For more information visit the Pulse-Journal Web site or e-mail communitynews@coxohio.com.

The Little Art Theatre in Yellow Springs is offering a free showing of the 1945 film noir classic, "Detour," as a tribute to actress Ann Savage, who died on Christmas Day. The screening will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at the theater, located at 247 Xenia Avenue (Ohio 68) in Yellow Springs. "Detour," directed by Edgar G. Ulmer, is a masterpiece of film noir: Roger Ebert called it one of the all-time greats — this is an opportunity not to be missed. More »
