Back to school already?
In the newsroom, we get ready for things pretty early. (Not as early as the city of Monroe, which is already seeking someone to donate holiday trees for the winter festivities, but still … we’re fairly early on things.) Right now, we are in the midst of putting together content for our annual “Back To School” issue. On August 14, we will include stories about the growth of local schools, and how districts like Monroe are bursting at the seams, but officials are adjusting and doing their best to handle it.
Every week, we include a school news page. It typically includes “notes” (briefs about local school events) and “achievers” (briefs about the successes of area students).
