Mason Fire Levy

There are a lot of bloggers out there blasting the city council for wasting taxpayer money on things like the sports park, downtown and the community center. City officials say they need to pass the fire levy in order keep things status quo. The additional 2 mill levy would cost the owner of a $100,000 home $70 more a year. Are you in favor of the fire levy? How important is improving response times?
