Party with Dayton’s indoor football team this weekend
Yes, warmer weather means it’s time for baseball, and the Dayton Dragons kicked off their season yesterday. But another Dayton team will be out and about this weekend to remind fans that their season isn’t over and they want fans in the seats.
The Dayton Silverbacks, members of the Continental Indoor Football League, have a game this Saturday against the Marion Blue Racers at 7:30 p.m. at Hara Arena.
Their mascot Congo and the Silverbabes cheerleaders will be out on the town Friday night for Congo’s Kut N Loose Party Bus Tour. They’ll stop at four area bars to sign autographs, take pictures and party with fans. Some players will be available at the first stop as well.
The schedule:
8 p.m. - 9 p.m.: The Filling Station, 4317 Linden Ave., Dayton
9:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.: Stubbies Sports Bar, 722 W National Rd., Vandalia
10:50 p.m. - 11:50 p.m.: Heroes and Legends, 5832 North Main St., Dayton
12:10 a.m. - 1:10 a.m.: Dixie Cowgirls, 5500 North Dixie Drive, Dayton
If you want a chance to rub elbows with more of the players, head to Boston’s Bistro and Pub, 7500 North Main St., on Saturday after the game.
In addition to a meet and greet they’ll be holding a drawing to win 4 tickets to a home game.
