To the contrary, everyone should be wondering why it HADN’T closed long before. Sloopy’s was bad enough, especially in the final years, but the Bar Tiki abortion was even worse. Painting a couple things, hanging two strings of colored lights and putting thatch up in a couple spots doesn’t count as “renovating”.
