Miami Valley Beer Fest boasts more than 100 craft beers
In the immortal words of Homer Simpson, “Mmmm… beer.”
The second annual Miami Valley Beer Fest fundraising event promises “Big Beers and Barley Wines.” And with more than 100 craft beers available for tasting and purchase, there is sure to be something to satisfy every type of beer lover. A full list of beers available can be found at www.mvbeerfest.org.
Last year’s inaugural event attracted more than 300 people; this year they are expecting 600.
The Skilless Villains will be providing entertainment and local restaurants will provide food for purchase.
Your ticket gets you a tasting glass, 20 samples of craft beer, door prizes and entry into raffles.
All proceeds benefit the non profit Resident Home Association, which provides homes and daily living support for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Where: Roundhouse at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, 1043 S. Main St., Dayton
When: 2 p.m.-6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 9
The bite: $35 in advance, $40 at the door, 21 and up only.
