Dayton Rocks the Sand Concert
You don’t have to go to the beach to enjoy a night of sand volleyball and live music under the stars. DaytonRocks.com is bringing together four bands for an all ages night of rock at Setter’s Volleyball Lounge. Bands performing will be The Paramedic, Formulas (formerly Delta Delta), Fall Kills the Calendar, and Who We Are.

When: 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7
The bite: $5 for 21 and older, $8 for younger than 21.

Fashion show benefit for Ladyfest
Local designers will gather at c{space Saturday for a fashion show to benefit the 2010 Ladyfest. Designers including Urban Handmade, Veda Vintage, Lissa Lush, Mahoganay Soule, and more will have fashions available for purchase in addition to products by Miss Motley’s, Kidtee Hello, Heather Lea Reid, Acid Poptart, and others. Music provided by Heather Redman, Jay Madewell, Rukus Roboticus, and Etch.

Girls Gone Wild
Yep, they’re back. If you want a chance to be on their new reality show searching for the Hottest Girl in America, then head to South Beach on Friday. Come out and see the famous tour bus, eat some free pizza during happy hour, and dance the night away with DJ Chris Rock. Ladies get in free until 11 p.m. and can show off during the bikini contest, with a cash prize going to the crowd favorite.
