Sharkey’s kicks off summer season this weekend
It’s not Memorial Day weekend yet, but summer events are already popping up like wildflowers all over Dayton. If you’re heading to FlingFest at Old River Park on Saturday, or Fleurs et Vin at Carillon Park on Sunday, you’ll be in the right neighborhood to stop by the Dayton Marriott for opening weekend at Sharkey’s Poolside Lounge.
The outdoor bar and stage is a Friday and Saturday night staple in Dayton with a great lineup of local and regional music acts. No need to worry about the smoking ban, because it’s all outdoors, but of course that means weather can be a big factor.
Kickoff weekend will feature music from The Websters on Friday night and Last Call on Saturday night.
Where: Sharkey’s Poolside Lounge at the Dayton Marriott, 1414 S. Patterson Blvd., Dayton
When: 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights
The bite: $5 cover charge
