Another plug for South Beach? You are ridiculous for your endorsement(s) of them. That place is nothing more than a boys’ club (and sometimes nasty old men). They objectify women and treat them with no respect. And don’t get me started on Atmosphere. They don’t want you there if you over 25 and a size 8 or above. Endorse some clubs with live music from local bands! This is why hardly anyone reads this blog.

true enough. i’ve been to south beach twice and both times propositioned by older men for sex. i’m not a prostitute, i was there with a group of girls. i’ll never go back & shame on DDN for continuing to mention this awful place. Atmosphere is just ok. i’d rather go to Dark Horse Tavern when a fun band (like Uncle Rico, Powderkeg or Spungewurthy) are there! ENOUGH WITH THE MEAT MARKETS!!

That club is not for kids. College kids need to stay around college bars. Sothbeach is NOT a college bar. Let the grown-up be real and enjoy our money and success, while you college kids figure out your future. It takes time - you’ll get there… eventually. In the meantime, we’re living the success of those years. Best of luck!
