CAFE BOULEVARD has the best courtyard in town. It is hidden in the back (they have 2 patios in the front also) but the back patio makes you feel like you are in Europe, it is a great spot to hang out for Martinis or Dinner.

The patio at the Winds in Yellow Springs is lovely indeed. There’s just one drawback: an air conditioning unit right on the patio is rather noisy but one gets used to it. The best kept secret patio in YS is just up the block from the Winds: it is behind the Sunrise Cafe. Chef Brian just outfitted it with new tables, chair, and umbrellas. So cozy-so peaceful- and great drinks and food are served there.

Carmel’s is the best: big, beautiful, with good food, great atmosphere and Bobaritas. Try it once and you become a regular.

Winans Chocolates, Coffees, and Wine at the Dayton Mall has a great patio. It is particularly fun on Saturday evening, they have live acoustic music every saturday evening at 7:30.

Carmel’s has the best patio around - with it being half covered and half open you can still enjoy watching the game while having a pitcher of their famous Bobaritas. Definitely good times and good food!

The Dock restaurant in Enon definately has the best patio around. There is plenty of space to eat dinner or have a drink with some friends. There is even an outdoor “Tiki” bar (along with an indoor bar in the “boathouse”), 9 different ponds, and live entertainment. The patio area is absolutely beautiful, the service is excellent, and the food is amazing! I would recommend The Dock to anyone.

Carmel’s has a great outdoor patio - even better since they expanded. I also really like Elsa’s on Stroop. They were smart to put fans in so there is always air circulating. The food at both establishments is great as well.

For many years, Thai West in Huber Heights was the only Asian restaurant in the region that used the word "Thai" in its name and focused primarily on the cuisine. Check out these restaurants and see what the buzz is all about. More »
