Britney Spears death watch?
Usmagazine.com is reporting that within the past month the Associated Press began preparing Britney Spears’ obituary.
“We are not wishing it, but if Britney passed away, it’s easily one of the biggest stories in a long time,” AP entertainment editor Jesse Washington tells Us Magazine.
“I think one would agree that Britney seems at risk right now,” Washington adds. “Of course, we would never wish any type of misfortune on anybody and hope that we would never have to use it until 50 years from now but if something were to happen, we would have to be prepared.”
Washington also says the AP has a “pretty extensive obituary operation,” and that staffers are “constantly adding people” according to Usmagazine.com.
Seems like 26 is kind of young for an obit, but then reflecting on her illustrious career it makes sense. Between this and the news that Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to work at a morgue as part of her DUI sentence, it’s been a weird day in celebrity land ….

I would really not be terribly surprised if the AP had to use this obituary within the next year. Britney does not seem very serious about turning her life around, and she’s turning into the next Anna Nicole. Tragic, but she’s brought it upon herself, so I have mixed feelings towards her.

I wouldn’t be surprised either but that’s a terrible thing to do to someone! It’s sick that we feel that we need to rip people down instead of seeking the hardcore help this girl needs. It’s painfully obvious that her postpartum turned into a drug and alcohol addiction. But everyone stood back and let her get addicted and no one sought help for her. Then again who would care when she keeps throwing the money to each person that wants it that’s really all they wanted anyway, just ask K-Fed.

Truly sad, 10 years ago this young girl was on top of the world and now were preparing for her death? Someone get this article to her family so she can see what the world thinks… Snap out of this and get your self straight!

I am not aa Brittney Spears lover, I honestly think the girl needs major mental help, but for a magazine to do something like this is rather sickening. I guess nothing would surprize anyone on what she’ll do next, but this really isn’t right.

What Us Magazine is doing is standard operating procedure. Don’t shoot the messenger. Any major celebrity that is having the problems Britney is having would have an obit prepared just in case.

Ok what the USMagazine is doing is what all papers and magazines do. Once a person is a star of any type the start on the obits so that all they need to do is update them every year as the person gets older or something changes in their life ie; get married, have a kid you know stuff like that. Would youbelive that there is people that are always writing and rewriting the obits for the stars? Yes it is true. As far as Britney goes come on people she is just after all a person her self. And what she is going thru is no more of a big deal than if it was your next door neighbor. All Britney needs is to stay out of the spotlight, stop acting like she is a spoiled brat and realize that there is more to life than feeling sorry for herself and doing dumb things out where people can see and want to take photos of of her doing the dumb things. What people don’t always think about is that yes after you have kids your life is going to change. Nothing will be the same. The time of all the late night parties is over. GROW UP!! Think about other people not just your self.

Poor Britney ! Who gives a damn. I think she should leave the planet so we don’t have to hear that name anymore.

It’s her life. She can live it anyway she wants. Tabloid type people will always get titillated over stuff like that. And, other people just simply want to control everyone else’s life. I say, whatever floats your boat. She’s probably making money off the non-stop coverage.

“but if Britney passed away, it’s easily one of the biggest stories in a long time,” AP entertainment editor Jesse Washington tells Us Magazine” You’re kidding me, right? This celebrity worship culture in this country is asinine.

Britney, yes she has some problems and is in need of help, but shame on the media for doing what they are doing…. What I Hope and Pray for Britney is that she will get that help and do a 360’ degree turn around and all of the media will be sorry for ever doubting that young lady and her strength. We need to be there for her, not pushing her to her grave. How stupid have Americans become? Britney, You can make it by the grace of God and many christians are praying for you. Don’t give up…. You will be victious in this battle! Remember someone one is always praying for you…..

Everyone says she is mentally unstable, so why can’t they lock her up? She obviously is not capable of thinking for herself. She needs help before she does die. Its sad nobody will step in and help her.

I have zero, none, nill, zip in sympathy for her. If Kevin had been in a standoff with police or acted like she has, would he have been given so many chances with the courts or not been arrested? She doesn’t even bother to show up at court for hours until after and they still keep giving her chances and letting her near those poor kids meanwhile the same system all over the US is far harsher on good fathers that are doing what the courts demand and still are refused contact with their children. Maybe people should wake up and think of them and Kevin more than worrying about poor little Spears and her needs.

What a morbid, papparozzi-style thing to announce. These vultures are sitting on a fence, sharpening their knives, drooling at the prospect of getting the ‘big story.’ I’m not a fan of this girl, but can you imagine what her family feels at having this annmounced? What kind of a world is this?

I hope she does die! That’s the only way we will stop having to hear about her and all you morons can then get a life!

It’s common practice for news organizations to prepare obituaries on prominent people, many who are in excellent health. When I was an editor we had nearly 100 obits prepared on prominent Daytonians in case they should die suddenly.

If only we had more laws to control peoples lives. We could make Britney live like WE want her to live. It’s our life, not hers. Come on people, let’s pass some legislation. More laws, more laws, more laws.

Britney is a figment of her own imagination. “She feeds off the paparrzi and if she “really ” wanted to stay out of the limelight she could….other stars do it….so sad that 2 young boys had to be the result of another inmature game between 2 inmature goonies…….She’s 26 now….it’s out of Britney’s Mother’s hands….time for Britney to fulfill her responsibility and MOTHER those boys !! What a sick society we live in…..!!
