Casey Calvert autopsy results released
MTV.com is reporting on it’s homepage that Hawthorne Heights guitarist Casey Calvert, who was found dead in the band’s tour bus outside of a Washington D.C. night club on Nov. 24 died, “of an accidental mixture of medications.”
The post written by James Montgomery says that the “autopsy lists ‘acute combined effects’ of prescription medications and unspecified opiate, possibly Vicodin; expert says, ‘This kind of death is one in several million.’ “
The article says the autopsy lists Calvert’s death as accidental. A statement from drummer Eron Bucciarelli to MTV said: “From the time of the incident, we suspected a possible drug interaction as the cause … Casey wrestled with depression for as long as we knew him. He saw numerous doctors and took an ever-changing array of medicines to get better. He finally had his depression under control.”
