Local tavern celebrates 40 years- 40 cent beers, burgers and dogs
Here’s a question — where can you go to find Santa Claus sitting on a moose, an 8-foot-long shark, “Bouncer” the bear, hundreds if not thousands of snapshots featuring a local bar’s loyal patrons and 16 tasty brews on tap? Harrigan’s Tavern.
The Kettering tavern is set to celebrate its 40th year in business, and is planning a full day of activities Saturday. Starting at 11 a.m., the bar will offer patrons draft beer, hamburgers and hot dogs for only 40 cents each until mid afternoon. Entertainment will include a Skeptical Cats performance from 7 to 10 p.m.

They “conveniently” neglected to mention the $4.00 cover charge. When I asked them about it, they said the (news)paper made an error. However, this same “error” was duplicated on the sign out in front.
