My Christmas tree topper is a star made out of yellow construction paper with sparkles and stickers on it, made by my granddaughter when she was 5. I love it!

We bought our 7-foot artificial tree for $29 at Rikes 43 years ago. It is topped by a metalic star made in Czechoslovakia, that we bought at Rikes when we bought the tree. Both are still in excellent shape.

One year we got a tree the reached our cieling leaving no room for our traditional star. Needing something on top of the tree, I put a stuff crab ornament as a joke on top it has resided on top ever since. He is affectionately referred to as our “Christmas Crab”

Mine changes every year, as do the decorations on the tree. I have had everything from a star to a teddy bear to angels and decorative fans. This year will be a crystal angel.

There has always been an angel at the top of the tree in my family. I have an angel, my sister’s family has an angel and my parents have an angel.

it was a bad day at the North Pole. The elves went out on strike, the reindeer had the runs and Santa has a migraine. At that moment a little angel came in with a Christmas tree and said; “What do you want me to do with this Santa?”
