Halloween, Christmas in full swing at Flower Factory
If you’re looking for Halloween decorations, novelties and more, Flower Factory could be your new favorite store. I went to the Miamisburg-Centerville Road (725) location on Tuesday and found the store already abuzz with the Halloween spirit. Everything from signs and pumpkins to inflatable haunted houses and spooky moving “trees” can be found within the first 2 -3 aisles of the store. I also found a few endcaps throughout the store with more Halloween decorations and party supplies.
If Halloween’s not your thing and you’re just waiting for it to be over and winter to begin, you’ll be a happy shopper as well. Just beyond the aisles of Halloween items you’ll find that they’ve already put out a lot of Christmas and winter decorations and gift items. They’ve got everything from snowmen to Santa in the form of figurines, signs, ornaments and more. In the back of the store (past the color coordinated party supplies) they’ve started putting out outdoor Christmas decorations (lights, lighted figures, etc.) and ornaments.
One word of caution though: Watch what you’re buying. I’ve found a lot of great deals at the Flower Factory but I’ve also spotted some items where I could get the same thing or something similar elsewhere at a better price.

I appreciated this article but I used to shop at Flower Factore all of the time until they raised their prices. I have a small craft shop and used to buy lots of items there to resale. I can’t do that anymore because the prices are too high now to try to resale. I found the Christmas Shop in the old K-Mart building near Dayton Mall and it is GREAT! It reminds me of Flower Factory when it first opened. The Christmas Shop has a big variety of items for VERY good prices. I was shocked because I expected all Christmas items. They have just about anything you would want. They prices are good enough too that I can buy and be able to resale them. I really miss Flower Factory and the prices they used to have. Thanks again for the article!

Hey Great shopper: I love Christmas Tree Shoppes too. I’ve been meaning to head down there as I haven’t been in a while to see what they’ve got out now. As for the FF prices, I’m just careful about what I buy there because I know some things are a great deal where others aren’t. Thanks for the comment!

The really fun thing about Flower Factory is that you never know what you’ll find there! I went in to buy some party stuff for my nephew and ended up getting nearly everything that I needed for my wedding at less than half of what I had priced it out anywhere else! I am sorry for the business owners who feel that they can’t shop here anymore since it is open to everyone now but I’m telling you- you just gotta go get a free membership.I just got mine on Tuesday and they have a deal now through Friday (?) that if you spend 40 bucks or more you get 15% off your order right now! I thought the prices were great before I got the 15% off! My mom lives in Columbus and she went and got a membership this week at that store.I think they have other stores too. I plan on going back to get all my Christmas decorations there!

Note to readers…the Christmas Tree Shoppes does NOT have Christmas items all year round…only at Christmas. The rest of the time it is basically a Big Lots…only cleaner!
