Free Mother’s Day gifts at Michaels
Starting on Saturday, May 2 at 10 a.m. Michaels craft stores will kick off their week of Mother’s Day events. Every day of the week through Mother’s Day (which is Sunday, May 10) the stores will feature workshops (select hours) to make and take crafts that will work nicely as Mother’s Day gifts. And the best part of all? These events and crafts are FREE! Items include handmade cards, t-shirts, photo keepsake plates and corsages. A few of them require the purchase of some materials (t-shirt, picture frame) but the decorating supplies are available to use for free.
If you’ve got children in your life that want to make something special for mom but money is tight (or let’s face it in this economy - non-existent), this seems like an excellent idea for gifts that any mother would love.
