Cemetery creation
The cemetery in my front yard is coming along nicely. I found my pre-lit garden arch. And while I’m not getting married anytime soon, it did come in pretty white wedding packaging. The Pre-Lit Wedding Arch from Michael’s was easy to assemble and even though I originally planned to paint it and my garden fence black for a creepy look, I’ve decided to keep them white. It still looks good and this way they are much more useable the rest of the year too!
It comes only with the lights, not the tulle and flowers.

BARGAIN ALERT! The fencing I’m using was picked up at Handy Man during a tent sale for $4 per package. This time of year (as long as you get started early enough) is perfect for picking up elements like this. They are no longer “in season” and therefore marked down considerably. Perfect for use in Halloween decorating.
Pictures to follow of the cemetery thus far. I’ll point out the various elements and show you where to get them and how much!
‘Til next time!

Phantom of the Opera on your computer
Love The Phanton of the Opera? Not busy on Halloween night? This might be for you!
From the Kennedy Center: Be a part of a ghoulishly thrilling All Hallow’s Eve when organist Ray Brubacher improvises his accompaniment to the original 1925 silent film The Phantom of the Opera.
See performances from previous years.
Check them out and then make sure you’re all set to watch this year’s version live on Halloween, (Wed, Oct. 31)!
