United Dairy Farmers in Kettering on Dorothy Lane has award winning ice cream for everyone of all ages. The atmosphere is great and excellent customer service. They also have an outdoor patio.

UDF not only has great Ice cream but the best toppings I know of. The hot fudge is soooo good, and they are generous with it. Plenty on the bottom when the ice cream is gone. I’ve never been disappointed.

JD’s frozen custard should be on the list, it is the best “ice cream” place in town, unless you have a special catecory for best frozen custard place. You all are missing the boat….

Why isn’t Ritters on this list? Yes, it’s called frozen custard, but frozen custard is really just ice cream with a higher butterfat content than most…making it exceptionally rich, creamy, and tasty! Ritters would get my vote, so I’m not voting here.

The best place is not in your list! Jet Freeze on Patterson Rd. on the western edge of Beavercreek is great! They have soft-serve strawberry as well as vanilla and chocolate. It’s not a chain, is locally owned and the staff is friendly. Their prices are probably the best in the area!

UDF is the best in customer service!! They have the biggest selection on the ice cream and the variety . My grand children love to go there. UDF has my buisness for life!!

UDF ROCKS!!! The staff is always helpful, very friendly, and seem to really enjoy what they do. I have been going to UDF for 13 year’s and couldn’t think of going anywhere’s else. The stores are always clean, where else could you go to get a gallon of milk, a fresh loaf of bread, oil for your car, a fresh cup of coffee, snacks for you and the family and of course a thick milk shake to take care of those cravings and feel like you got your monies worth. They always have great sales on the dipside

Graeter’s has the best ice cream ever. We go to the one on Far Hills Ave in Oakwood. There are always a lot of people in there. The staff is efficient, fast and friendly and the customers are also friendly.

Graeter’s home is in Cincinnati, yet the ice cream is known around the world. The chunky chocolate adds a special touch to us “chocohalics.

What a pleasure. What a difference natural flavors and passion make in a favored dessert. Nothing like it in mass produced high fat hard pack ice cream. Not even close. Just what Dayton-America needs to educate the pallet. Clean fresh healthy gelato(ice cream). Not just vanilla with something in it.

UDF has the nicest people working there. Cotton Candy is best! My son likes Paintball Blast the best. Dinosaur Egg is good too- very creative flavors rather than the boring Graeter’s, Friendly’s, or Ritters.

I must say that Dolcessa’s Italian Ice Cream is lip licking good!!!!!!!!! The many flavors are awesome. After living in Europe for 3 years, I can vouch for you that their ice cream is authenic and is good to last drop! MMM….. MMM….Good!

UDF has it all! What’s better than a dip of Peach Ice Cream, a Root Beer Float, fresh LemonAid, Sundae’s, or the thickest MALTS in town. You can do your shopping, then relax in the Parlor while you enjoy your evening out with your family in the good old summertime!

United Dairy Farmer’s has the best Icecream by far. They have the best soft serve shakes around. They also offer Chocolate dipped waffle cones with sprinkles, nuts and butterfingers.

Definitely Friendly’s. No one can beat the sheer variety of their frozen treats. There really is something there for every member of the family. Our six year old who doesn’t even like ice cream loves to go there.

The store just south of the Dayton Mall is the best one around.
