ESPN’s Berman likes playing ‘softball’

WHERE’S JIM GRAY

WHEN YOU REALLY,

TRULY NEED HIM?

ESPN’s Chris Berman ought to be arrested for pandering to Barack Obama and John McCain.

Berman’s interviews with the presidential nominees — aired at halftime of the Monday Night Football game between the Redskins and Steelers — were an absolute joke.

Berman lofted more softballs than an over-60 beer softball game.

Geez, Cincinnati Bengals heaad coaach Marvin Lewis faces tougher questions in his news conferences on Mondays and Wednesdaays.

Here’s a glimpse at the real Chris Berman:

That was awful last night. In typical ESPN fashion, something was hyped so big and then disappointed everyone. McCain’s “HE COULD. GO. ALL. THE. WAY. TO THE WHITE HOUSE” was the cheesiest attempt at trying to be funny and sucking up to someone that I’ve ever seen.

I don’t expect Chris Berman to do hard-hitting political questions. It was a football game, Chick, not a debate.

Chick, you should have put some kind of warning about strong language on the Chris Berman rant. People do go online and read your comments with kids in the room.

KEEP POLITICS OUT OF SPORTS!!! All ESPN should have done is remind people to vote. This is dumb. What was Berman suppose to ask about? U.S. foreign policy towards Russia in the next administration?
