Oh, yes, Cedric WILL play at Dallas

BENSON IS READY

TO ‘RUN THE ROCK’

The Cincinnati Bengals media met tailback Cedric Benson, who conducted a 10-minute interview in front of his locker.

Best thing he said?

“I’m just going to come out and run the rock, basically, get first downs, help the offense score touchdowns.”

Hey, he may run the rock more than expected. Why? Because Chris Perry has a sore hamstring and was limited in practice on Wednesday.

“It feels good,” Benson said. “Most importantly, it’s good to be back in some packs, back on a team, around a great group of guys, very accepting to me, and I’m just thankful for the opportunity.

“The fact (the Bengals) were willing to give me an opportunity said a lot about them as an organization, just the opportunity was most what I liked. I’ll have a few more things I’ll like by the end of the week.”

“The fact (the Bengals) were willing to give me an opportunity said a lot about them as an organization….” Truer words have never been spoken.
