Fred Savage is not dead
Relax 80s babies, Fred is not dead.
Fred Savage is among the living despite an internet hoax that spread after an image of a curly-haired kid actor popped up on the screen before the commercial break prior to the Emmy’s “In Memoriam” segment last night.
Tons of folks thought it was a video of Savage that flashed on the screen.
It was really Corey Haim. The “Lucas” star died unexpectedly in March.
Haim’s name was displayed on the screen during the actual in memoriam segment, but by that point, the Twitterverse was already in a tizzy.
Savage, the star of the “Wonder Years,” became a Google Trend topic. Fake ‘news’ stories about his death in a car crash were passed around.
Poor Corey Haim, upstaged during his own in memoriam.

TweetRyan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper set to star in ‘Lethal Weapon’ like flick
What happens when you put one hot guy in a cop film with an equally slamming dude?
We’ll have to wait, but I am betting something is going to blow up.
Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper are set to star in a yet to be named buddy-cop film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film is expected to have an edgier “Lethal Weapon” feel, but don’t expect either Cooper or Reynolds to say “I am getting to old for this bleep.”
The duo is set to star as two friends force to solve a crime with their fathers, retired cop.
