Oakwood-raised actor Rob Lowe set to release book
Rob Lowe will soon add author to his list of credits.
The “Brat Pack” actor is set to release his first book, “Stories I Only Tell My Friends,” in May with Publisher Henry Holt and Co, according to online reports.
Raised in Dayton, Lowe attended Oakwood High School before moving to California with his mother and brother, actor Chad Lowe.
Most recently a star of ABC’s “Brothers and Sisters,” one of his first big breaks came in “The Outsiders.” Take a moment to recall the bevy of 1980s hotties in that flick.
Wonder if Lowe will talk about that infamous sex tape in the book.
What do you think?

Will Rob tell of his destruction of an entire isle of Meyers Meat Market on Park Ave. during a spastic rich kid “I can get away with anything” episode in Oakwood back in the day? Naw…didn’t think so. As I cleaned up/replaced hundreds of displaced cans that Lowe swept from the shelves in his twit rage, I thought to myself: Thank God these people have money…they can hide this walking/talking abomination from others..and lessen thier embarrassment. Oh, Oakwood…and all of you living there “socks”. Proud of your arrogance?

Well…we care…sort of…as long as it doesn’t cost us too much money. We offset the cost by pulling you over for 1 MPH over the 35 MPH limit on Far Hills Ave. When you protest, knowing you’re being scammed, (which…of course…you are) we apply all dutifull Police “adjectives/nouns/verbs” known in the English language to make sure your truth is shut down, and our lies…are truth.

“By Oakwood Cares” You’re a flaming idiot!! There is not an agency in the Miami Valley that would pull you over for 1 mph over. Show me in writing of your proof! Once again, you’re an idiot posting unintelligent crap!

Really Dan? Are you that ignorant? Kettering and Centerville are still nice places to live. Go back to your trailer park, have a natty light and you and Jr. can talk about the good ole days.

Well..let’s get all the “agency’s” together on far Hills Ave. in Oakwood. First, we’ll try to determine that the idiot is you….”darn”…after all…you’ve been there for forty years…and “may” have some influence on the outcome of “unintelligent crap” Do you get this spooled up when you pinch your wanker? If so, keep it to yourself, and the goat you call your own….

@Squamus Cell So, I know, there is an unbreakable stereotype about Oakwood. We’re all rich, we’re all snobby, we believe were superior to all other human being on this earth.. right? I’m not going to tell you everyone in Oakwood isn’t snobby, everytown has it’s Scrooges, but I moved here 8 years ago, and the people were immiedaitly accepting and friendly. While some in Oakwood are somewhat wealthy, I assure you, not all of us are. There are those of us in Oakwood that have very hard finacial issues, but why should our finacial situations dictate our morality? As a race, we’ve learned not to judge by the color of skin, not to judge by religion, not to judge by race, so why do you have the right to judge other people by their successes? Declairing the people of Oakwood as arrogant shows your own arrogance. I’m sorry about your cleaning conundrum but if Rob was from Middletown or Beavercreek would you declare that the people of Middletown or Beavercreek are all arrogant? All kids have their fits and a whole community should not be judged by them.
