Reports: Sarah Palin to get $1 million for each reality show episode

Americans may soon know a whole lot about moose meat.

Sarah Palin is landing her very own reality show, according to Reuters and the Washington Post.

Discovery Communications will soon announce the Mark Burnett executive produced reality show “Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” the Post says.

Palin, currently a Fox News contributor, will get PAID.

Word has it that Burnett, the reality show kingpin behind hits like “Survivor,” “P. Diddy’s Starmaker” and “The Apprentice,” is asking between $1 million and $1.5 million for each episode of the show.

Instead of focusing on the Palin family, the show will follow Palin as she does fascinating things like visit fishing boats and gold mines.

What do you think?

Sounds pretty good. The production company knows what they are doing. So, how does this compare to what others make on reality shows? Guess someone must be willing to advertise in order to make this happen.

By really?

Oh…there will be plenty of teabaggers sitting in dark with one hand occupied ready to watch “Sarah Palin’s Alaska”

Guess we’ll really get to see if we can see Russia from there. Me, I’d like to see the bridge to nowhere. No, not her political career, that real bridge to nowhere.

WTF: if you had READ the article, you would SEE that this show is NOT about Sarah Palin. This is about her showing off Alaska’s beauty & things of that nature… get a clue… You all are so wrapped up in Fuhrer Obama. It’s not even funny. The funny thing is, she has SO MUCH MORE EXPERIENCE & DID SO MUCH MORE FOR AMERICAN CITIZENS THAN OBAMA EVER HAS OR WILL… including this travesty he just signed. GET EDUCATED.

Sounds like she’ll be sort of a tour guide for Alaska. I think Discovery also did the “It’s Tougher in Alaska” show as well. I think if she did some sort of show that “The Osbornes” that would be a BAD move.

So this is where loser politicians go. Too bad she will not be as entertaining as Ozzie Perhaps they could do a reality show together. At least one of them didn’t have a knocked up teenage daughter. Ozzie must have better parenting skills.

Gwapes, a show about Alaska wouldn’t be worth $1 million. This is a Palin vehicle. Buy a vowel and lay off the caps.

S*CK IT CLUE! Yeah, Palin just goes to DISCOVERY & says, PAY ME $1.5 MILL SO I CAN SHOW OFF ALASKA… I’m so sure, Clue…. Palin doesn’t need this “vehicle” as you call it… why would she? She’s an author, goes on tour with the tea-party & is on FOX NEWS… plus, RAISING A FAMILY? Okay… man, too many people are wearing GREEN these days… & it does NOT look good on them!

Gwapes, Maybe they’ll show Palin field dressing a moose or shooting a wolf from a helicopter. Sounds just lovely huh? And please, stop with nonsense that Palin had experience. She’s dumber then a bag of hammers, and by even suggesting otherwise, you appear dumb too. Read Game Change.

Thanks Jim The Liberal… You couldn’t answer my questions on the healthcare forum, but you can come here & attack/insult my intelligence… What experience did OBAMA have besides being an “educated thug?” NONE. If that’s what the Discovery Channel wants (Which I’m sure it is, look at their name) then that’s what they’ll get… Palin did SO much for Alaska Jim, & If you say she didn’t then you are just plain ignorant & have probably OD-ed on some kool-aide.

Obama will no doubt add a amendment to the healthcare bill to tax ex governors of cold states, that start with A, an extra 40% tax, to help pay for it, since he is wasting 10 billion for 16,500 more IRS agents.

Like we want to see her do anything why don’t she just stay home and take care of her kid that needs her instead of trying to be seen. Shoot we didn’t even know who this dumb chick was, and frankly we don’t care.

What question didn’t I answer on the health care forum? Educated “thug”? Why would you call Obama a thug? Obama spent a lot of years in the Illinois Senate, worked as a US congressmen, and US Senator. He taught constitutional law, and is highly educated. Palin barely graduated from college, and has trouble speaking in complete sentences. Listen to her sometime. The woman is CLUELESS. Yes, she was Governor for a couple of years in, a state with fewer people then the Dayton Metro area, with so much federal money she couldn’t screw it up. She did so much huh. Like what? She QUIT on the people of Alaska is what she did. Look, if you want to be a Sarah Palin fan, knock yourself out, but I’m telling you, she’s dumber than a stump. And if you can’t figure that one out, you’re either dumb yourself, or you’re in denial. Why don’t you get behind someone who’s smart like Mitt or Mitch Daniels from Indiana. Mitch Daniels is a top shelf republican Governor, who’s smart.

Philman, you are so stupid, this artical is about that dumb chick Sarah, not Obama, besides who wasted more money than Bush and now he and Tricky Dick are sitting back laughing at how they decieved the American People spending billions in another country and recieving perks. WHAT A JOKE YOU REPUBLICANS ALL HIPOCRITES

“Where it is the taxpayers looking to bail out. But ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the healthcare reform that is needed to help shore up our economy. Um, helping, oh — it’s got to be all about job creation too. Shoring up our economy, and putting it back on the right track. So healthcare reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions, and tax relief for Americans, and trade, we’ve got to see trade as opportunity, not as a competitive, um, scary thing, but 1 in 5 jobs being created in the trade sector today. We’ve got to look at that as more opportunity. All of those things under the umbrella of job creation. This bailout is a part of that.” You Betcha.

Hey Jim, will you let me buy you a Bullwinkle outfit and one-way ticket flight to the great state of Alaska? As often as you field dress Sarah Palin, I’m sure you wouldn’t mind a turn-about.

Pays a lot better than being governor doesn’t it.For all her sanctimonious posturing and ” good for Alaska”. Like all repubs she is just a whacked out self-serving Ho with a victim complex.

You people are ridiculous. Everything on DDN comments is about the big “O”, racism, and the death of Dayton. Simply put this article asks what do you think about the possibility of this show. It’s a program about Alaska which happens to be hosted by a former VP candidate. I don’t care for her myself, but, based on what I have seen of the woman I think this is more up her alley. Would I watch? Maybe. Most likely not. I’ve seen enough about Alaska via Discovery and PBS already. Wow and I didn’t mention Taxes, Healthcare, or Budgets!! It’s the end of the world!

It’s been awhile since I started the posts. Good to know that the ones that dismiss Sarah Palin as being a non-factor continue to gravitate to EVERYTHING SARAH. We need those extra IRS employees even though they’ll not need any accounting background, just the ability to make sure you have health care…we’ll all be government employees by then…sooner or later someone will figure out that half of the people need to pay taxes for the other half.

Go Sarah Go. What are all you liberals afraid of? At least she has morals and also kept her baby. God bless you Sarah. Thump your nose at the liberals and let them shake in their boots thinking about what you might uncover about them. You have my vote.

By Jim

March 24, 2010 10:52 PM | Link to this

vickie, Palin has Morals? Did she have morals when she quit as Governor? Do her morals include inciting violence by using Cross-hairs to “target” democrats? I’ll give Sarah credit for keeping her Downs child, but politically, she’s nothing but a ignoramus attack dog. Sarah has no place on the national stage. This reality show is more suited to her than anything with substance. I might watch it if they paid her 1k an episode.

How can the Republicans be taken seriously, when they chose to run Sarah Palin for vice President? Please, anyone, answer that question.

It’s a Redneck Channel (red-neck hotrod, red-neck chopper, red-neck trawler fishing, red-neck wood-choppers, red-neck Tattoo’s, etc) so why not red-neck Palin hosting another yankeedoodle show? Discovery Channel; you can watch for hours and learn exactly nothing. You probably end up more stupid the you were before.

Why do we continue to hear about this woman? Why does the media continue to publish stories about a person that 75% of the people don’t care for? Is her life really that interesting? Please move on to the important news and let this crap go to the tabloids. She is old news and not worthy of news coverage any longer.

We need to stop fighting among ourselves and join together against socialism. It doesn’t matter what race/religion/sexual preference you are, what matters is that our country doesn’t oppress us. Sarah is an honest woman who has taken alot of flack for standing on what she believes. I like Sarah and hope she does well.
