Kate Gosselin: ‘plus eight’ will come before “Dancing with the Stars”
Sorry folks, Kate Gosselin’s 15 minutes are far from up.
The newly divorced mom to eight is among the recently announced crop of celebrities for the upcoming season of “Dancing with the Stars.”
On her “Good Morning America” appearance today, Tuesday, March 2, Gosselin said the show won’t be her top priority.
“I have eight kids, and I’m a mom and I have a very full schedule anyway,” the former “Jon and Kate Plus Eight” star said. “Obviously, the kids come first. It’s going to be hard. I’m determined to do it.”
Gosselin, a self-admitted bad dancer, said she’s going to try her best, practicing in a basement studio while her plus eight are at school.
“I am determined to do it,” she said.
Internet speculation had her and co-star Pamela Anderson as picks last week.
Few saw the Bengals’ Chad Ochocinco coming or Wright State grad Nicole Scherzinger, lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, coming.

Gosselin isn’t the only reality star to make the cut. Jake Pavelka, the latest “Bachelor,” also made the show.

Kate Gosselin? Blecccchhhh. Bet she’ll be the first one voted off.But Chad should be a lot of fun to watch. Think of the costumes he’ll have!

I hope Kate does well on the show. She is a woman who has come a long way, learned alot, and changed for the better.

Poor Tony always gets stuck with the bad ones. Would love to see him stay on, but I will do everything I can to vote her off! That woman irritates me.

I think Kate is a great mother and doing everything possible to give her children a good life. I hope she does well on the show. A nice slap in Jon’s face!

The riggors of the show are very tough. There is no way a mom w/eight kids could handle that show. She says the show is not her #1 priority its her kids. Well, dont’ tell your partner that, he might drop ya! I would hate to pay that sitters bill for all those hours of practice

Jon will probably be watching the kids while Kate keeps running from camera to camera talking about how much she is suffering while hypnotized “star”-loving sheep like lala gobble up every word.

Kate is only doing the show for the $200,000 they pay each participant. Guess with all the makeovers and trips away from the kids are draining the bank account.

Now she is building a dance studio in the basement of her house to practice for Dancing With The Stars while the children are in school. What happened to the “I can’t pay my bills because Jon took the last $40,000”?
