Chris Matthews: “I forgot he (Obama) was black for an hour”

MSNBC’s Chris Matthew couldn’t ‘sort of’ pull his foot out of his mouth fast enough.

After President Obama’s state of the union speech Wednesday, Jan 27, Matthews sort of opened up a can of stupid worms by being too Chris Matthews.

He said Obama was ‘post-racial’ and spoke to all Americans.

“I forgot he was black tonight for an hour,” Matthews said. “I said wait a minute, he’s an African American guy in front of a bunch of other white people.”

What do you think of what Matthews said?

Ahead of sex tape allegations, news that John and Elizabeth Edwards have split

Days before a tell-all book hits the street, ABC News sources claim that Elizabeth Edwards is legally separated from her cheating dog husband.

John and Elizabeth Edwards’ marriage has apparently been on the rocks since allegations first surfaced that he fathered a videographer’s child.

Problem is that Elizabeth is not a videographer. Oooh, snap.

Edwards last week admitted he fathered Rielle Hunter’s daughter.

If getting another woman pregnant wasn’t bad enough, a new book claims Johnny did all sorts of naughtiness with Hunter in Elizabeth’s bed.

“The New York Daily News” says that a new book by Edwards’ former aid — the dude who at first said he fathered Hunter’s child — claims a sex tape was even made.

Andrew Young’s book, “The Politician”, also says the former senator (called Love Lips by Hunter) urged Hunter to abort their child, the newspaper says.

Oddly enough, Young claims Edwards refused to get a divorce because he loved his Elizabeth so much.

More importantly voters loved her so much.

The book will be released Saturday, Jan. 30.

Will Ferrell welcomes baby Axel after Conan performance

Looks like “Free Bird” led to a free Axel.

Comic Will Ferrell and wife Viveca Paulin welcomed a baby boy hours after preforming “Free Bird” on Conan O’Brien’s final “Tonight Show” Friday, Jan. 22.

Axel Ferrell was born Saturday morning in Los Angeles, according to PEOPLE magazine.

He is the couple’s third son.

Paulin played a swaying, long-hair hippy during the show. She stopped moving only to makeout with her husband.

Does Brad Pitt Smell?

Time will tell if Brad and Angie are really over, but Eonline’s Ted Casablanca claims Brad smells.

Something’s up…definitely,” an unnamed “friend” said according to Casablanca’s blog. “Brad is looking horrible. Just horrible. He smells more than ever.”

What kind of friend is that?

He’s steamy, but does Brad Pitt smell?

If you smell, your friend should whisper it in your ear. He or she should definitely not, not, not tell a gossip column.

A stinky Brad Pitt would still be hot, but it wouldn’t be ideal.

Only the elite knows if Angelina Jolie’s man actually does smell, but the heartthrob has been rocking a rather gnarly beard.

Who knows how much nacho cheese sauce has been captured in that thing.

What do you think?

Michael Vick promotes his upcoming reality show

Michael Vick took to the radio waves Wednesday, Jan. 27, to promote his upcoming BET series “The Michael Vick Project.”

The disgraced football player told Tom Joyner’s national radio show audience that dogfighting is wrong and he is ashamed he ever took part in the vicious blood sport.

The show set to debut Tuesday, Feb 2, is supposed to show that Vick is a changed man.

Anything is possible, but jeez, that would be a lot of change.

Pitbulls were fought, maimed and killed for six years at Vick’s “Bad Newz Kennels.”

Vick told Tom Joyner that animal rights group PETA has laid off of his case because of the money he has donated to the Humane Society and because he now speaks against dogfighting.

He said he wants to encourage kids not to follow him down a destructive path.

“You never know what you have until it is gone,” said Vick, who played the 2009 NFL season with the Eagles.

He said he blames himself for the crime that landed him in federal prison for 18 months on dogfighting charges.

In the first episode of the 10-part documentary-style show, Vick visits the site of his gruesome crimes, according to the Associated Press.

Vick reportedly discusses his childhood experiences with dogfighting and how it became his second career.

“This is hard to imagine myself doing this years ago, man,” Vick said.

What do you think? Is the show a good idea?
