Has Jay Leno won back ‘The Tonight Show?’
Looks like Jay Leno wins the chicken dinner.
In this case the chicken dinner is “The Tonight Show.”
Leno has signed a deal with NBC that give him the “Tonight Show” from 11:35 p.m. 12:35 a.m., TMZ says.
If TMZ has it right (NBC denies that they do), Conan O’Brien is the chicken dinner loser.
He’ll likely go out with this redhead held high.
Conan has already rejected an NBC offer that would have had him host an hour-long show starting at 12:05 a.m.
Read Conan’s super manly “People of Earth” letter here.
Maybe pride is the real chicken dinner. (Sorry about all the chicken dinner references. Seemed liked the right thing to do at the time.)

How about bringing back the Magic Hour with Magic Johnson? He’s improved a lot and his show was ahead of its time.

I think both of them should tell NBC to take a hike. The management at NBC are fools.

I’ve been watching David Letterman since Jay left the Tonight Show- Conan was fine for later-Feel sorry for him after Conan uprooted his family and moved from the East Coast to the West Coast. Should have just reshuffled back to the former time slots.

Conan will walk away with a Giant deal form FOX for a 11 pm show. Leno will go back to 11:35 and Letterman’s current ratings high will be a thing of the past. Jimmy Fallon will pick up Conan old 12:30 time spot and be a hit. You can not tell me that Conan was not told back in April that IF NBC changes their minds about the 11:35 spot, this is not a surprise to any of them. COuld be a ploy. Leno is the better comedian.
