Tickets going on sale for play at Nutter Center starring Tyler Perry
Ticket go on sale 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 11, for a play starring a man in dress and gray wig.
Madea and her alto-ego Tyler Perry will hit an area stage 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, for a performance of “Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family.”
Tickets are $68 to $53 for the show at the E.J. Nutter Center, 3640 Colonel Glenn Highway, Fairborn. In a message on his web site, Perry, who is still mourning his mother’s recent death, said he needs to work right now. He says the show, Perry’s first tour in five year, will not disappoint.
“This is truly my biggest and best play ever! I’ve done some things in this show that have never been seen in a play before. The show is hilarious! I mean, it’s so funny that we can’t get through rehearsals. We’re trying to get it all out now. And the music! The music is off the chain,” a message reads.

I’m very disappointed that the play is not scheduled to be in Pittsburgh. Tyler Perry is very talented and extremely funny - I enjoy his work immensely!
