Should Levi, Bristol or hungry Chia Pets get custody of baby Tripp?
Poor, poor, poor Tripp.
Like brides-to-be at a wedding dress sample sale, Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin are fighting it out over the 1-year-old’s custody.
And you thought the feud between Johnston’s clan and the family of former Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin could possibly end before Tripp’s 18th birthday.
According to the “Anchorage Daily News,” Bristol Palin, Sarah Palin’s daughter, filed a petition in November seeking child support and full custody of Tripp.
Johnston would get only scheduled visitation. His mother, Sherry Johnston, would be barred from seeing the baby unsupervised.
Bristol Palin said she and her family take care of Tripp.
Immature Levi, on the other hand, runs around half naked working on his ‘celebrity career,’ Palin claims.
The reality show-seeking Johnston apparently is more willing to play somewhat nicer. He wants to share custody of Tripp with Bristol.
This week a judge denied Bristol Palin’s attempt to keep the case confidential.

Levi is too busy with his “career” and Bristol is the mom who has birthed him and has taken care of him. Bristol should have full custody, and Levi should get visitation if he can keep his macdaddy in his pants long enough.

Levi is white trash at it’s best. Bristol learned a hard lesson, but is rising to the occasion. Give her what she deserves.

It should be shared custody. Bristol has tired of Levi and now wants to cut him out of her life. But he is the father of Tripp and she can’t erase that. Too bad for you Bristol. Next time keep your legs together.

First of all, I think it’s ridiculous the judge wouldn’t rule to keep the case confidential. But that’s neither here nor there. I think Bristol should have sole custody, if Levi were that concerned for the baby, he wouldn’t be in GQ and PlayGirl (I think that’s what I heard). No judge is going to take a baby away from their mom, unless of course, she’s a crack head, and half the time they still get to keep their babies. I hope the best for Tripp, Bristol, and the rest of the Palins!

It seems to me that the mother should have custody in this case. The father (seed donor) will still have scheduled visitation. It’s not like they were a married couple that had an established life together and now divorced or something. They were going together in school, got pregnant and had an engagement of what appears to be political expediency. Levi is obviously a spotlight seeker, so let him do that and let Bristol rear the baby.

Sperm donor can have shared parenting once he demonstrates he is seriously interested in the child. Until then scheduled visitation is all that he really can handle or really wants. He is putting up a fight just to show he can.

Give the child to Levi. That will end his “spotlight” career. Are there any diaper coupons in GQ?

Bristol picked Levi to be her baby’s daddy and it should be shared custody. Levi seeks the spotlight, so what, isn’t that the same thing Sarah Palin has being doing?

Bristol is a spoil brat who just wants her way.She should have question his character b4 she made a baby with him. He deserves partial custody of his child. It takes two, good or bad right or wrong Tripp is entitle to his dad and not just on Palin terms.

Kristi, did it ever occur to you that Levi is in GQ and Playgirl because SOMEBODY has to support this child and I sure don’t see Bristol out working.

i think that this is just another case of kids havin kids, the twist here is that they had a noteable person in their lives when it all happened. weather it is momma getting custody or sharing the parenting with daddy it should all be about what is right for the child. as a parent of a child who lost his dad to an accident it saddens me to see one trying to cut the other out of this childs life that is just sad , at least give dad a chance if he isnt doing right by his child then go for the throat. childeren tend to make the parents do alot of growing up when they are faced with the responsibility , but if the parents do not rise to the occation then well they should both be removed from the childs life so the child can have a chance . AND FOR GODS SAKE DO NOT MAKE THIS BABY GROW UP IN THE SPOTLIGHT! he should be allowed to grow up in private and learn lifes lessons on his own not by the latest polls !

UrbanDweller, how would YOU know if Bristol Palin has a job or not? The ONLY reason LEvi is ANYTHING is because of Bristol’s momma… maybe he should be spending time with their son instead of gallavanting (SP?) around town like he’s somebody… which he clearly is not. At least Bristol is in the child’s life on a daily basis, I’m sure Levi is there in between photoshoots, of course.

None of these people should be able to see the kid for giving it such an idiotic name. Tripp? really, is his middle name Acid? Levi? really, is his middle name 501? Bristol is her middle name Little Kings? wow
