Video: Jennifer Lopez falls on her bum

Say what you want about Jennifer Lopez, she recovers quickly.

J-Lo fell on her bum after jumping off a row of dancer playing stairs during a performance of her new song ‘Louboutins’ at Sunday night’s American Music Awards.

If you blinked, you may have missed it.

Lopez took the stage like Muhammad Ali, but has someone already taken her pop music title?

Is she still a fly girl?

What was the best AMA moment?

What an extra special American Music Award ceremony!

From fatter than before Timbaland to Adam Lambert’s boy kiss, there was much to see and sort of enjoy.

But what was you favorite moment?

Was it Whitney’s almost trumpet return, JLo’s fall or Taylor Swift stealing the ‘artist of the year’ glory from Jermaine Jackson who had planned to steal it from brother Michael?

Someone should send Kanye West an extra special Christmas present.

Don’t know about you, but I sort of liked Rihanna’s Lady Gaga costume.

Still I am voting for Whitney. Even in an er… ummmm… weakened state, she kicked the lip-syncher’s tail.

What do you think? See photos from the AMAs here.

He said he suffers no skin disease.

Sosa contributed it all to the brightness of TV cameras and a cream he is using to make his skin soft and lovely.

Er, OK.

Sosa might want to check to see if the mysterious cream contains bleach.

Dethroned beauty queen regrets sex tape, says she was ‘Palinized’

In a strange interview on the “Today Show” Tuesday, Nov. 10, dethroned Miss California Carrie Prejean promoted her new book while bashing the media and admitting she made a sex tape or ‘whatever’ you want to call it.

“If you want to call it a sex tape that’s fine,” Prejean said of the tape she sent to a boyfriend at age 17. “It was me by myself. There was no one else with me. I was not having sex.”

She said the tape was made for private use.

Before going on and on about both protecting free speech and how wicked her critics were for speaking their minds, Prejean said making the sex or ‘whatever’ tape was the biggest mistake she’s ever made.

“I think that a lot of young people can learn from this. And nothing is private anymore. Nothing is private. But the biggest thing and the reason I wrote this book is because Americans believe their beliefs are under attack, and this is proof, ” Prejean said.

Prejean, the Former Miss USA runner-up, dropped her lawsuit against Miss California pageant organizers last week apparently on the heels of the tape’s discovery.

She would not discuss the lawsuit, but said she has been ‘Palinized’ by liberals since speaking out against same-sex marriage at the Miss USA pageant seven months ago.

“There’s been a campaign against me to try silence me,” she said. “They’ve tried to embarrass me. They’ve tried to humiliate me. They’ve tried to attack me, and I am still standing, and they can’t take that.”

Perhaps not so ironically, Prejean’s book is called “Still Standing.”

It’s nice that he’s calm, but President Obama needs to get tough and literally start smacking his rivals around, comedian Bill Maher said on “The David Letterman Show” Thursday, Nov. 5.

Maher said Obama gives great speeches, but so did Muhammad Ali.

“It helped that every once in a while he (Ali) punched somebody in the face. And that’s what I would like this president to do, punch somebody in the face,” Maher said. “Take a swing at John Boehner… Stop listening to these crazies. Stop placating them. “

Rihanna GMA interview: ‘F’ love … leave batterer

In a portion of a “Good Morning America’s” interview aired Thursday, Rihanna said going back to ex-boyfriend Chris Brown after he beat her was a mistake.

The pop singer says she was blinded by L.O.V.E and didn’t realize the influence her action could have on young women and girls experiencing domestic violence.

She urged domestic violence victims to leave the relationship.

“Don’t react off of love,” she said. “‘F’ love. Come out of the situation and look at it third person for what it really is and then make your decision because love is so blind.”

In her first TV interview since the beating, the 21-year-old said she was ashamed that she loved a batterer and humiliated that the matter was so public.

“I am strong. This happened to me. I didn’t cause this. I didn’t do it,” she said. “This happened to me and it could happen to anyone.”

Brown, 20, was arrested Feb. 8, hours after he was accused of beating Rihanna after the couple attended a pre-Grammy Awards party. He later pleaded guilty to felony assault.

More of the interview will air on Friday’s “Good Morning America” and then Friday evening on ABC’s “20/20.”

Kidman is kinky: ‘I’ve explored strange sexual fetish stuff’

Don’t let the pretty face or the once being married to Tom Cruise thing fool you.

Nicole Kidman is apparently very, very kinky.

Well, that at least what she claims in the latest edition of British GQ magazine, according to The UK’s Daily Mail.

article-0-07116C4D000005DC-491_468x609.jpg
Nicole Kidman is apparently very naughty. Who knew? Huh.

‘I’ve explored obsession. I’ve explored loss and love in terms of being in a grief-stricken place, I’ve explored strange sexual fetish stuff, I’ve explored the mundane aspect of marriage, and monogamy,’ she says according to the newspaper.

The Oscar-winning actress wears what looks like an old skool Playboy Bunny underwear thingy on the magazine’s cover.

She describes her current marriage to country singer Keith Urban as ‘raw’ and ‘dangerous.’

“It’s a very extraordinary, adventurous place to be: incredibly raw, incredibly dangerous and you’re very much out at sea. You’re exposed. You could drown.” She says. “When you commit to someone like that, you live and die together by that decision.”

Good for you Nicole. Good for you (I think)!

Rihanna, Michelle Obama, Amy Poehler among magazine’s ‘Women of the Year.’ Who would be your pick?

Rihanna is a snazzy dresser, but was she exceptional this year?

The Pop princess is recognized as one of “Glamour” magazine’s “Women of the Year 2009.”

FASHION_MODEL_REVIEW_8_NYT1.JPG
(Hiroko Masuike for The New York Times)

She is in a class that includes 23-year-old Kathryn Hall, a Philadelphian who is saving lives in Gambia, poet Maya Angelou, tennis player Serena Williams, fashion designer Stella McCartney, Iranian women who fight for equality and journalists Euna Lee and Laura Ling, who were arrested in North Korea.

First lady Michelle Obama also receives special recognition in the magazine on stands now. Others in the list include Amy Poehler, Marissa Mayer, Jane Aronson, Maria Shriver and Susan Rice.

While it can’t be denied that Rihanna is a fashion trendsetter, can anyone call her a “woman of the year” with a straight face?

She didn’t exactly set a good example for her fans by reportedly initially going back to abusive ex- boyfriend Chris Brown. The pair ultimately split.

Still the unfortunate segment in the young singer’s life ( she says she went to sleep Rihanna and woke up Britney Spears) did bring attention to teenage domestic violence and she is speaking up now.

She told Glamour:

Domestic violence is a big secret. No kid goes around and lets people know their parents fight. Teenage girls can’t tell their parents that their boyfriend beat them up. You don’t dare let your neighbor know that you fight. It’s one of the things we [women] will hide, because it’s embarrassing. My story was broadcast all over the world for people to see, and they have followed every step of my recovery. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn’t heard. Now I can help speak for those women.

What do you think of the list? Who would you add? Who would you remove?
