Kanye West off the hook… battery, vandalism charges dismissed

Apparently breaking a camera is not a crime.

He may remain one of the most hated rappers in the history of the world, but hip-hop mogul Kanye West is out of hot water in at least one regard.

Charges related to the scuffle Mr. West and his road manager had at Los Angeles International Airport last year with paparazzi have been dismissed, according to the Los Angeles Times.

West and Don Crowley allegedly smashed a photographer camera during a confrontation in September 2008.

Eight charges, including battery, grand theft and vandalism, were dismissed.

Did Miley Cyrus Have Swine Flu?

If you believe her reps, H1N1 did not have Miley Cyrus feeling like a sick little piggy.

And swine flu is not the reason America’s 17-year-old sweetheart ran off stage Sept. 29 during a concert in Salt Lake City.

This of course contradicts the word on the street.

Said word was ramped up this week by one of Cyrus’ former Hannah Montana costars.

Cody Linley, a beachy blond to say the least, told Reelz Channel’s Hollywood Dailies that Cyrus was bit by the pig.

How did he know?

She told him.

“I spoke with her the day that she canceled the tour, he told Reelz Channel. “She said she felt really bad. She didn’t understand what was happening, but she just got really sick and had to run off stage because things were just like on her heart, too heavy. Then the next day she told me she had the Swine Flu.”

And the plot thickens… or does it.

It is not like she’s be the only person to get swine flu.

Cyrus is set to preform in LA this weekend as part of a breast cancer awareness benefit, according to EXTRA.
