Actress Mackenzie Phillips: I had sex with my own father
Today’s “Oprah” is sure to be explosive.
Former child star Mackenzie Phillips will open up about the alleged incestuous relationship she had with her dad, John Phillips of The Mamas & the Papas fame.
She will detail the horrible, drug-addled life she details in her tell-all books.
In her book “High on Arrival” due out today, Wednesday, Sept. 23, the “One Day at a Time” star outlines how she had sex with her dad the night before her wedding to Jeff Sessler, according to People.com
In the book, Phillips said her dad showed up that night determined to stop her wedding. She was 19 and and drugged up.
“My father was not a man with boundaries. He was full of love, and he was sick with drugs. I woke up that night from a blackout to find myself having sex with my own father,” People reports.
Man with no boundaries is an understatement. John Phillips was an evil sicko if her story is true.
Phillips, who at one point feared she was pregnant with her father’s child, will tell Oprah how her father shot her up for the first time.
John Phillips died in 2001.

I cannot imagine that she would make up a story like that to sell a book. If her father was doing drugs with her and pimping her out to people like Mick Jagger, then I believe that he was doing her. I pray that it is not true and I would be totally disgusted with her if it is all a lie.By inreality

Those of you calling her a liar know very little about chemical dependency and it’s grip and even less about pedophilia and incest. Who is to say if it is true or not. Oprah has been suckered before and I imagine she has her truth-meter running on this one. I will watch the interview and try to judge for myself if she seems to be telling the truth. There was a lot of crazy stuff going on with this group involving sex and drugs so nothing would surprise me.By rj

I don’t know whether she is truthful or not. It really doesn’t matter. People will do anything and get themselves involved in everything while under the influence. I somewhat question her motives. Oprah has a show to sell. Miss Phillips has a book to sell. No one can dispute her claims. The American public will be titillated and buy the book, they will go see the coming movie, all the while ignoring their own drug/alcohol/promiscuity fixations. Such a shame.By Joy

I’m grossed out. I thought I was bad. But why after all these years did Laura (aka “Mackenzie”) have to go public about this mishugas? Is she that broke? Speaking about poor, poor Jeff Sessler. I was involved with her father in law, Freddie Sessler for 10 years and was with him the night Laura and Jeff came to his condo in Floria after they tied the knot. Wonder if Freddie knew Laura (aka “Mackenzie”) was bangin her dad and his son at the same time. Freddie loved John and Laura but alas was bizarre himself. If this is truthful, I am like everyone else on this board. She deserved it and especially if she was on drugs. I am sure she was asking for it. It’s a shameful embarrassment to have your own father molest you. My stepdaughter was molested by her father until she was 15 and told him, finally, enough, or I’m telling someone what you’re doing. She told me after he tried to do the same thing to her half-sister.By daffodilly

I saw part of the interview and I believe her. She takes responsibility for letting it go on so long and for her illness / drug abuse. Yea, she may relapse iwth the book money (hope not). She had a f**cked up rock-n-roller childhood. It’s hard to be normal when your life has been anything but.
